Hi All

Most of you will not remember me. I have had some great times and results from applying SOGR.
As I have not been here for a while, I would like to just give a bit of inspiration to all the newbies and also some of the oldies who may be missing the point.


Firstly know that this works and the results that you get are in direct proportion to your efforts. When I started SOGR I read in the book that if you do exactly as was told you would become rich. So for the first time in my life I said OK I'm going to do it 100% to the letter.


Well that was easy during the first part of Rebeccas course, but as it went on there were times when you had to be honest with yourself and keep battling on. We managed well until the lesson on forgiveness came. I was not prepared for this but I had made a commitment so eventually we did as we were told. It was one of the hardest things I had ever done regards emotion. {Read in archives under Croz forgiveness}

Well as I say in the story as soon as I had done it I felt as though I had been operated on successfully for cancer. I felt great and I think that was a defining moment in my development.


As I return here I still see the same questions being asked and the same challenges being offered. The skeptics are still trying to derail everyone, the part timers are expecting their room to fill up with $100 bills as if by magic and every one appears to be feeding of others results.


Let me tell you all that each and everyone of you can make this work for you, make a COMMITMENT and say whatever happens I am going to follow Rebeccas teachings to the letter. If you do anything short of that you can only blame yourself for your lack of success. It would be immpossible for you to complete the course and then put your hand on your heart and say it did not work.


The trouble with a lot of people is that they tend to rearrange things to suit themselves and still complain that things did not work.


Wally tells us to follow his teachings alone until we get it right, then you are at liberty to read and study anything you want because you will have a stable grounding. I have read numerous books and articles since finishing the course and they all have a little something but not the same effect as SOGR.


The amazing thing is that last week I reread SOGR and with all my new experiences and knowledge it seemed like a different book. The book was actually guiding me even furthur because of my new found wisdom.

Here is a little piece for all the skeptics and a little encouragement for the other members.

I wrote an article recently, I cannot remember if it was on this forum, but one of the things I have found that really accelerates results, is to study with a buddy.

It seems that you make a lot more commitment if you hold yourself accountable to someone.

When we hold ourselves accountable to ourselves, we tend to be able to manipulate ourselves to suit. This is no good because we are only cheating ourselves. When you discuss and report to someone else it seems that you really put in more effort, and have more energy.

Thanks for your post. I am a second-timer through the lessons - last time I didn't use the Forum, but this time I intend to use it to connect with like-minded people and help keep me focussed. I am in much the same financial position as I was last time through, but I think I allowed myself get distracted last time. Here I am, once again, saying living on the financial cliff-edge is just not good enough for me - I want to live a fantastic life, and for that I need funds!!!

What came across most strongly in your post is that I need to let go of all my other books while taking the course, and just immerse myself in SOGR. This is a real challenge for me - I have my mountain of books at all times that I am reading. I love them so much, and am constantly reading different authors on similar subjects. This can in fact be a bit confusing as they approach things from different angles.

Thanks for the timely encouragement to give myself a break and really apply myself to SOGR for now. Your results are inspiring.

up to date since I'm new here and to SOGR.
What you said has inspired me further.

Just to acquaint you with me....
Here's what I wrote on my first post which was
the day I joined on Dec.17th. -----------------------------------
For years, I have read many self-help books and have studied the ideas and philosophies of great men like-- Norman Vincent Peale, Napoleon Hill, Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Zig Ziglar, Earl Nightingale, Jim Rohn Mark V Hansen, Robert Allen, Jack Canfield, Henry Cloud, Tim LaHaye, just to name a few -- and also some great women authors like Joyce Meyer, Beth Moore, Rhonda Byrne, etc. All of these people have added something to my life and for that I am thankful.

Yet, I continued to feel that I was missing something and I asked my Creator to show me what it was that I was missing out on. Soon after that a friend of mine recommended I read The Science of Getting Rich. I found the website 10 days ago and I have devoured the book 3 times. I ordered Rebecca's audio of the book and now I have joined SOGR Practical Geniuses. I am excited about what I will learn here. I am applying all that I have already learned, and somehow I just know that this is what I have been looking for! It did ring true to me, too, each time I read the book.

My inner being identified with what was written on each page and I felt that I had "come home" so to speak! It did resonate inside of me. Up until now, I wondered why I had such a strong desire to be rich and yet that desire was being unfulfilled in my life. Now, I know that I can change all of that and have the tools and the power at my disposal to do so.

Yes, your post helped, but also your story that you related in November 2005 helped me.

You may recall that at that time I was very angry and bitter at people who really made horrible trouble and derailed my career and dreams years ago.

If it wasn't for your post on how you were able to forgive I would not have been able to start doing it and get to this point.

Hi All

I have just been rereading this post.

It certainly appeared to help a lot of people in 2006.

My update is really positive. Since posting things have really accellerated and I now find doing things in a certain way second nature.

I must just tell you all that the more you understand these teachings the easier it becomes.

I have had a few times that I sort of wobbled, and everytime you can pin it down to how you are thinking about something or how you perceive it.

Anyone can master these teachings and change their life.

The trouble is that many of us have a glass ceiling limiting what we believe we can achieve and that is as high as we can go.

My advice is to smash the glass and then really follow your dreams.

There are no limits or boundaries, only the ones you imagine.
