Occasionally, someone will have trouble logging into the Practical Geniuses Course Site. When that happens, it's usually for one of two reasons:

• The username or password isn't being typed in EXACTLY. It needs to have the same capitalization (or none) as it originally was set up with. Also, no spaces before or after the codes. (Check this -- it happens a LOT!) Before you give up, copy-and-paste the codes rather than typing them. Weird, but sometimes it does the trick!
  
• The web browser's "security settings" have somehow changed. If they're set higher than "medium," you'll find many of your passwords suddenly not working.

To fix this in Microsoft Internet Explorer, click "Tools" > "Internet Options" > "Security" tab > "Custom Level" button. Make sure the little box at the bottom says "Medium." If it's "High," your passcodes will NOT work.

Last, but not least, make sure you're not trying to log into the COURSE site with your FORUM passcodes, or vice versa.

OK, that should do it! It would be a good idea to copy and keep this message, because the internet sometimes sends us unexpected little glitches like this. If it should happen, you'll be prepared!
