Start by saying Hi to everyone. Looking foward to sharing and learning from all and from within. In bio I talked of the fall that has derailed my "normal" course of income. The Dr. is saying that I have till June before I try walking again so I am taking this time to grow and "reprogram" the thoughts that have brought me to where I am. While reading the book I (though I would be ashamed to admit it)and going through 2 of the LifeLabs I can see how my thoughts and feelings of myself have got me to where I am. If only I had KNOWN that I was that powerful a long time ago! So as of this writing ywo issues come to the for front of my mind that I want to accomplish. 1) reprogram my thinking and rewrite or turn off the negative conversations that travel through my brain and ego. 2) open up the waves of creativity to create an ongoing source of income. I have to make a new start and I want it to be the best that I can make it be Hence the "empty blackboard" The laws of attraction have already been working, as they always do. Somehow this book and site came into my life at this perfect time. The offer for pay what you can was a godsend for there was no way at the moment for a large expense. (no income, no insurance, no savings). I hope to hear from all of you and share great feelings insights and rejoice with new knowledge and power. Sincerely,

Hi it's nice to hear from you Caroline. I want to say that even as I was laying there, before the ER, before the DR, and through the pain, I truely felt that God wanted my attention, to slow me down to re-evaluate. I was working hard, never could get enough money it just felt wrong but who knew why. I do believe that there is something better, more fulfilling and that is what would be best for me. It's a heck of a way to get someone's attention but sometimes neccessary The other thing I have noticed is that I didn't then and still don't feel any bitterness, though I had just invested a large sum to expand my knowledge in my business and will no longer be cabale of applying. That's not to say that concerns for the future are not present. But I feel it is more of an uncharted journey. And actually a fresh new start. Through this, with positive thinking reenforcement I can create a new life that I would have missed if not for the fall. So I really am/do want to come to this open and willling to learn. If I don't get it this time I can't imagine how He'll grab my attention the next time around.LOL For now......... still an empty board.

Hi livingwell: I can identify with what you said about working hard and knowing something just wasn't right. Up until now I would say that I know God does not want me living this way, He has much more for me. Little did I know that SOGR would be the catalyst to move me toward that journey. You speak of an empty blackboard. Be quick to fill it in, we human beings tend to gravitate back to the familiar. Fill up your blackboard with a CMI of how you want your life to be and focus daily on this!!!!! Welcome to the forum of like minded people. Have a great day and many blessings coming your way. Hi Hoagie, I too am from Ohio, Napoleon actually NW part between Toledo and Defiance. Grew up on the banks of the Maumee river. Loved to be by the water, loved our backyard. This time of year we'd spend hours on the ice skating and sledding, bonefire on shore and waiting for the sunsets (which are still my favorite time of day) Thanks for the compliment and prayers! I will start filling my blackboard with one new friend Have you been gaining knowledge for 3 weeks? Or is it just in the 3 weeks that you are noticing changes? Sincerely,

Livingwell: Both!!I joined SOGR in Feb 07. I had tried many avenues of positive thinking, goal setting, and up until now could not quite get over the hump. SOGR clicked with me and it has been quite an experience!! and it's not just an experience, it is life changing for me. Glad to hear you are enjoying the winter months. Some days I miss the cold and snow, and now am grateful to be living in the South!!! A speedy recovery with many blessings coming your way. Hoagie Have a great day and many blessings coming your way. Hi Livingwell, I agree - welcome to the course and SOGR, I beleive aa you and several of our friends that this accident may have been a blessing in disguise. This a great time for you to learn about SOGR, an opportunity to create you CMI in detail, a large number of things in the course will help you to really figure out who you really are, what you really want and how to take action on how to receive it. Rember that Wally says that you have to start where you are now. I beleive that the biggest handicap that any of us has is in attitude. One of the least handicaped and most successful person that I know runs a Locksmith shop from his wheelchair. Every self help book that I have read gives examples of handicaped people overcoming adversity. I beleive that anybody can do anything that they want. Be good to yourself and expect success!! Tom Strong Be good to yourself, live life passionately and always, always expect success!! I don't know how long I will live, but I'll live until I die!! Tom Strong

Hi Livingwell, Nice nickname and warm welcome to you. Words of encouragement to you. "Life is wonderful only if you decide to look it that way." Hence, your health is great only if you decide to see it that way. "For as he thinketh in his heart, so [is] he." - Proverbs 23:7 Live life to the fullest and expect success.
