Hello Everyone! Although I am new to Practical Geniuses, I read SOGR a few years ago after reading 'The Secret' so I don't consider myself a total newbie to the Law Of Attraction. I must confess that even though I believed all I had read on the subject, I let it fall out of focus in my day-to-day life (WAY out!).

About 2 months ago, my brother called one night to talk about a book he had been reading. Can you guess what it was? You got it! Science of Getting Rich. I said, "Oh, I have that book!" So I went to my bookshelves to find it and when I pulled it out I saw all these little pink stickies on lots of pages (I only do that when I think something is REALLY important!) So between the pink stickies and my brother's motivation, I got motivated too and started reading it again. I've read it twice so far and now it's living beside my bed in the 'place of honor' where really important books live

I joined Practical Geniuses a few weeks ago and I am currently working on Life Lab #11. I listen to the audios on my Blackberry so I can hear them just about anywhere. I read The Forum most every day but 'up til now' have just been a lurker I must say, there are some fabulous insights to be gleaned from reading the posts here.

As one who has always been a very realistic, or in other words, negative thinker, I have found it a bit difficult to imagine myself in the position of already enjoying the things that I will have. But I have this Facebook friend, Hi Croz! whose posts I read daily. Last week he asked a question that really got me going: If all your money concerns evaporated right now, how would you feel, and what would you do"? My response, "I had this feeling once before... The first thing I did was shout a really loud, WOOHOOO!!! And smile a lot. And exhale deeply " That was the first "Aha moment" for me. I can remember EXACTLY how that felt so it is a great starting point for imagining how I will feel.

I'm looking forward to hearing more from you guys and plan to become a Mind-Blowing Contributor myself.

I really like the spelling of your name! Just contemplating that spelling would cause a Merry feeling within; and feelings are really key in the law of attraction!

Prior to SOGR I had read many authors on the subject of abundance; many of those authors are still heros of mine. Most of those authors do echo the principles of SOGR. The thing that I like about SOGR is the simplicity of it; SOGR the book, the Practical Genious course and these forums have been the most direct route to riches - or anything else - that I have found!

Thanks Tom. The reason I bought TSOGR is because the author of The Secret says that is the book she read that caused her to write it
