Well okay, I wasn't really gone completely, been dropping in occasionally for a time.
But, I've gone from incredible success with SOGR to being nearly where I was back when I originally started. I guess I don't want to say what's going on, because it doesn't help to be negative. I'm also confused as how to use the "Up til now..." statement, because whenever I start it I remember how successful I was in 2006. So, it's kind of an interim "Up til now..." I do know that without my nearly daily visitation into SOGR that my positive mindset has slowly evaporated and helped me get where I'm at now. Where negative thoughts I used to have are coming back. I am thankful that I have the knowledge to get rid of them and bring back the success. So, I must get back into feeling, believing and being thankful for the good that I have and all the good that is on its way to me. Best of Success!!! Verne -Practise gratitude at all times. |

Hey, Verne, welcome back.
And you know, it's not all that difficult to understand what's happened because most people these days have been stewing in a big global pot of negativity for quite a while now, with all the fear about the economy, terrorism, war, and more. Even when we aren't actively seeking out all that "news" or paying a lot of attention to it, it's there. And if we aren't actively doing something in the OPPOSITE direction -- choosing where to direct our attention -- we can kind of get sucked in. But like you said, you DO know how to shift that. And you have proof that making the shift changes everything. So congratulations! Love & blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |

Hi Verne, and welcome back!
Today is the first day of the rest of your life (mine also), and yesterday was "Up til now". Today will be a better day than anything "Up til now"! An important thing for me was in switching the focus from (have, do and be) to (be, do and have). It is much more important to me to be the person that I want to be rather than having what I want to have. By becoming the person that I wanted to be I find that I am doing more of what I want to do and further I am having more of what I want to have! Be good to yourself, live life passionately and always, always expect success!! I don't know how long I will live, but I'll live until I die!! Tom Strong |

Thank you Rebecca for the welcome and reminder of more that was affecting me. I lost my mother and brother in the last 20 months, and it was a while before I realized how those two things had affected me. If you add in all the other things, I am holding up rather well considering.
Thanks you Tom as well for the welcome and redefining "Up til now" for me. I'm comfortable with your thought there. Also for the switching of focus thoughts. I had done that (still using SOGR sometimes I am hoping the universe will bring me other options before then, because I have a good workshop set up here and it would be nice to get my jewelry making, inventing and other things going in this set-up. And, make the sell and move in a more orderly fashion. But, I can and will "Be" first, set up elsewhere if the universe gives me that "Do" and "Have" with the success that comes there. Best of Success!!! Verne -Practise gratitude at all times. |

Verne,
You already know what I will say, but sometimes it helps to hear it repeatedly. Just last night, I watched an episode of Oprah that I had recorded. It was about Ted Kennedy. She had his wife and son on the show. Two stories apply. When his son Ted was 12, he was diagnosed with bone cancer and had to have a leg amputated. During his recovery, his father took him out to go sledding on a hill. He was not used to his artificial limb and fell. He was dejected and said he would never be able to do anything or climb the hill. His father, gently lifted him, and told him he could do anything, and that nothing could stop him and he helped his son until they conquered the hill. At the end, they told the story of his grandson, Ted, haha. Are you with me? Ted the older, Ted the middle, and little Ted, the grandson. Little Ted was being taught the family past time of sailing. He was 11 or 12. He did not like it, because apparently he was failing on a regular basis. Coming in last and such. But, Ted the older, kept coaching and coaxing, teaching and leading, encouraging, etc. And finally, little Ted "got it." And now he is winning. (And wants to be the senator of Massachusetts when he is 45) I thought those were both great stories of succeeding. I believe there is a law of opposites. And to know one thing, we must also know (or be familiar with) it's opposite. How can we know love, if we have never seen hate? How do you define success without failure? How can we truly experience peace, if we have never known fear or frustration? Maybe it is possible, but as humans, it is easier to define and quantify when we have something to compare it to. Maybe there are some here who will say differently. But this has been my experience. I enjoy the beautiful family life I have now, and do not take it for granted, because my childhood was chaos. I am grateful for that, because it now helps me to experience this. I hope what you are meant to experience will manifest itself through what you are living or that it will be the motivation for your fondest desires. |

I started the course to get my life back on track and to stick to it properly this time. Really i should have not excuses, it's just lazyiness considering sogr can help me and my life for the better.

Welcome back Verne,
Certainly it will be even easier the second time through, don’t you think? For me, I have to learn it all anew. SOGR has been the answer to the question that I have spent a life time seeking. I recently finished the Practical Genius course, and immediately started it again knowing there was much that I hadn’t learned the first time through. I know that I wish to strive to be a better person, and I know that SOGR is for me the correct path to follow. The philosophies and beliefs laid out here simply work. So congratulations on your upcoming successes my friend, I know that they will be simply incredible! |
