Hi Everyone Smile

So happy to find this little hidden treasure on the internet. I'd been meaning to read 'The Science of Getting Rich' for a few years now, and finally had the opportunity 2 weeks ago to listen to it as an audiobook. I was so incredibly encouraged by almost every word. It was very confirming for me... I kept saying "I knew it! I knew this was right!"

Have been recently going thru a whole new transition financially with my work and this book and the courses have been like little lanterns helping to light up my path for me...

LL1 LifeLab was challenging to look at all my 'numbers' and not get discouraged with where I am right now. But LL2 was such a great reminder... I love the part that says "the truth is that we live in a universe of infinite abundance where the supply can never run out" Wow! that was huge for me. I've always felt guilty about being rich b/c I thought I was depriving someone else of having riches... it seemed so unfair. But I'm really starting to have this whole view turned around. I'm seeing that I need to be rich to be an example to others that they CAN do it too!

I'm really thankful to be here... my goal is to just finish the LifeLabs now without giving up.

Best Wishes to All,

Devra Wink

Welcome Devra, to the course and to these forums!

I had read many authors on abundance prior to SOGR, however I found the book by Wally and the course by Rebecca to be the most direct route to my CMI's!

One author whose name I don't recall at the moment advised not to get through the day, but to get from the day. I can advise that for the course as well - don't get through the course, get from the course! As Rebecca says just relax into it!

Thanks Tom... the idea of 'relaxing into it' is really good for me to remember. I've always had a tendency to 'try' too hard with things, to struggle & push to 'make things happen'. This has just led me to feeling burnt out much of the time. It's refreshing to just relax!

Also, not sure what CMI's are??

Hi Devra,

CMI stands for Clear Mental Image! You'll learn much more about them as you progress but you can have CMI's for many parts of your life!

Hey Tom,

Through your communications, you seem to have a good handle on SOGR. May I ask how long you have been practicing with SOGR and what lead you on this journey Smile

Hi LovelyLinda

Thank you for the compliment! I joined the course January 2nd, 2007; 3 years ago. I had read the book a year earlier, and had read many authors on abundance and positive thinking before that. Many of those authors are still heros of mine! I understood and believed in the principles of SOGR before reading the book by Wally or taking the course by Rebecca - but found that the book and the course really simplified the whole concept to where finally "I got it".

A friend gave me the SOGR book, I had printed about 10 sets for her to give to other friends as I owned a printing business at the time. She paid for the 10 books prior to giving me the book. I subsequently printed other books to give to our emplyees and friends - but I don't think that any of them read it. At least they havn't asked me about it or told me how great it was.

Hope this helps!
