Hello to all here...
I have started over the weekend to follow the SOGR-PG and having some free moments now (installing a service pack on a server... Haa the Joy of Windows Big Grin ), I decided to let you know about myself!

As some may have guess, My name is Serge and I live in the greater Montreal area in Quebec, Canada (to be precise in the suburb, north West from Montreal in a city called Saint-Eustache).

I have been aware of SOGR since back in the beginning of 2000 (as it been 4 years already!), and have read it, participated in the "old" forum, set it aside for on and off, and now i am back.

I have been searching in a way for "my self", and while cleaning up many stuff, fell across a printout that reminded me that Mr. Wattle's book and the "certain way" as been with me for many years and that MANY (if not ALL) of the different philosophy and "way of life" that I have been looking into, trying to learn and study, had so many of the "truth" of SOGR in it.
But for me, all those "others" have a lot more "spiritual side" to looking at an acting in to attain what I desire, and SOGR is strait to the point.
So after re-reading the printout mentionned above (not sure if it was part of a post or from the "Certain Way Newsletter) from Chris in Comox BC (a fellow canadian on top of things!) reminded me that many of what I was looking for was part of SOGR, and that it was time to stop searching and start applying more.

So after much debate (for the pass month or two... I'm slow sometimes Razz ) I decided that the PG was one of the best way for me to start APPLYING and stop "searching and philosophying".

So there you go in a "nut shell", my being here...

Thank you Rebcca for making this course available, especially with the different ways to "get it", and my all of you be Bless and prosper!!

Hey, Serge;

Canada seems to be well represented on these forums. Actually, I'm a U.S. citizen living in Toronto as a landed immigrant. But don't hold that against me. ;-)

Still, we have a lot in common as my heritage is French Canadian (surname: Hamel)

I notice you come from St. Eustache. My maternal grandfather was Eustache Bonenfant. His three sons (my uncles) all carried the same first name on their birth certificates - Eustache. Oh, those crazy Canucks!

What does this have to do with Wealth and getting Rich in the SOGR sense? EVERYTHING. Acquiring wealth is nothing more than noticing the little coincidences and serendipidies in life and MAKING SOMETHING out of them.

I, and everyone else on this forum, has been enriched simply by MAKING YOUR ACQUAINTANCE!

Thanks for introducing yourself. Now let's see some great things coming from Serge from St. Eustache!

All the best from Toronto,
Russ

Hi Serge - Russ, Glad to see you are here. I am from Montreal myself and am on my third read of SOGR. I am also reading "Think and Go Rich" as I believe this compliments SOGR.

Have fun!

That book is a good complement to SOGR, BUT please remember that we have all made a commitment up-front that while we're in the Practical Geniuses course -- and this IS the Practical Geniuses forum, not the public one -- we won't study other books or courses or whatever or bring them into the course discussion. Again, this is just so we're following Mr. Wattles instructions more closely and all staying "on the same page." Thanks!

(I was in Montreal for 8 months. Loved it!)

Love & blessings, and, of course--
EXPECT Success!
Rebecca

Ooooopppsssiiiieeeee. Sorry Rebecca. You had referenced this book in the course so I thought I would read that as well. I can be a bookworm.

If only my life was like a computer so I can go back and delete my mistakes. (Darn)

hi Serge
Glad to 'see' you're here. i discovered SOGR last year and joined PG and achieved success, I bought my first house! Some how I got sidetracked into reading everything referred to on the SOGR site I could get my hands on. I have lost the plot as I have had a few failures e.g. road test for drivers' license. i am now back and am looking to this forum for guidance and accompaniment on my renewed trip. I hope we will help each other along the way.
