Hi everyone, after deciding I'd better stop just lurking, here I am. Thanks to all for the wonderful inspiring posts.

I'm up to about LL14 and having FUN! More about my experiences to come.

BEING GRATEFUL
Thanks for the earth 'neath my feet.
Thanks for the food in my full belly
and my sense that all life's a treat.

I wondered where the presents in the
past went to realise that gifts go
round in circles on a conveyor;

waiting for you to ask, then choose.
You can pick the ones that're right.

Thanks for the love of family!
One hug here beats any hate there
Ten thousand times and more.

Let it go out then - all family is full
on our planet. One hug for a stranger
who needs it helps the sun be brighter.

Thanks for the hills orange glow in
A sunset red. When beauty rolls
over you to collapse all ego;

When sight that reason can't hide
so gets up to leave behind
just a feeling of being: thanks.
