Hi Sam. Welcome. You did well posting already, so you know how to use the posting function. You may find that playing with the search function, looking up aspects you are most interested in will pay good dividends in your learning process with this course. You can get even more specific later on when something in the book or the course triggers an idea or question; you will find that someone else has asked a similar or related question sometime in the past and there may be answers that you/we would never think of on our own. All very interesting. Also play with the various buttons and see what they do. You can always edit/delete any post if you are not happy with it. There is a little icon on the bottom of the posting which allows us to edit or delete what we write. Luz Maria mentioned how to post in the lets talk it over section. You can also post in the It's all relative and the talking about the book section, which is for everyone, not just those of us who are doing the course. There are a whole community of very caring, kind and insightful people doing this course and you will find your questions answered to the best of everyone's ability. So enjoy the learning, participate in the forum; it is good to have everyone's input because we all learn and perceive in different ways and what speaks to one person is different from what 'speaks' to another, so we need each other to get multiple versions of an idea or experience; keep doing the course; when it gets really challenging, keep on going and ask for help. I only just learnt how to change my avatar to a photo! Rebecca posted a link on another topic and so I was able to adjust my photo to fit the avatar criteria. I didn't even think to ask how to do it! Learning all the time! That's another really interesting point. Everyone on this forum and doing this course is eager to learn and develop. That means that there is a lack of defense mechanisms and ego protection which can often be tricky to negotiate in the wider world. It's a very safe and kind place to explore the nature of being human in an evolving way. I look forward to reading your ideas, insights and experiences. Paix, Carolyn |
