I see most people properly introduce themselves, so my name is Rachel (I see there's another Rachel posting too). I've been visiting this SOGR site since 2003. I'm just starting a new business in a growing retail industry that combines everything I like and allows me to travel and work from mostly anywhere and I don't have kids.

Over the years, I'd forget this forum existed, get distracted ("believing appearances"), then get back up and repeat the cycle. Since realizing once again that my mental landscape isn't as positive as I thought, I've stopped visiting certain news cites, made SOGR my homepage and I have Rebecca's audiobook on a loop in the background as I clean and work. I bet it sounds like much, but it's invigorating. Besides, I'm building a new habit. I feel instantly better in a stable way.

I really like that I can come here and share and get advice, and that whining or negativity is discouraged. Some people pay good money for this!

So that's my proper introduction.

Thank You,

Rachel

Hello Rachel

Welcome to TSOGR and its resident community.

I like that you are "building a new habit" that involves this course and TSOGR.

Great start, and may it "permeate and penetrate" the interspaces of your new business.

Blessings

Say, thanks Caroline and Anaru. I've been coming to the forums more often lately, mainly using the find function to answer questions or to look at Rebecca's old posts.

Rachel, I'm glad to meet you. My proper name is Terri and my signiture is T's.

Traveling is just a shade off the center of my CMI, so we just may meet face to face one day.

Love to you and yours,
T's

Welcome Rachel!

It's always nice to come back to the forum after you have gone missing for a while, and then realize the very act of participating in the forum keeps SOGR ideas fresh in your mind. One of the very great features of this forum too, is that you can search for any topic you like from the archives. Many commonly asked questions have been asked over the years, and the actual circumstances may differ, but the main ideas still apply. Wink

Blessings

Hi Rachel!
I'm the other Rachel, and while I'm very happy to meet you, I must say that you're sort of freaking me out. Smile

I'm self-employed, too and your picture does not look completely unlike me. Your tag line "let it be easy" is one of my favorite bits of wisdom from this forum. Also, I completely agree that "These forums are like having a journal that talks back!'"

I'm completely loving this journey and these forums are my favorite part (other than my life being totally great, I mean Smile )

I'm looking forward to getting to know you better as you continue sharing with us.

Welcome!
Love and blessings,
Rachel
