Hi Larry,
I guess that this is a reply to my reply to your earlier welcome post. In your personal profile you indicated that you were in your 50's. Which at 69 I consider to be fairly young. At 54 I quit my job as an accountant and opened a print shop. We put our life savings into that shop, lost that money and went deeply into debt. At one point I had much the same feelings that you do now; and a taxing agency had threatened to shut us down. I went walking for a couple of days until I saw a group of migrant workers working in a field. I then realized that I could be happy with no money and working in a field to provide money for food. I went back to the shop, worked things out with the taxing agency, brought more business in......... I recomend that you find something, anything at all to be grateful about. You can dig out from under that mountain of problems, but you need an attitude of gratitude to do it. Be good to yourself, live life passionately and always, always expect success!! I don't know how long I will live, but I'll live until I die!! Tom Strong |

Hi Larry,
Welcome. I would say you could start with being grateful to having joined this course, having this forum to discuss with other members. You actually had Rebecca reply to your post!! (I must say it makes me jump in joy when I see Rebecca replying to my post  ). You also do have the wonderful gifts of electricity and the internet to communicate. You also have the gift of time to do all these wonderful learnings.. You could add a mile to that list.  |

SO what if you knew you can't MAKE everybody happy? What if you know that nobody can MAKE you angry (or fill in an emotion like rage, fury, hate, blame, shame, regret, guilt or WORRY...) If you allow YOURSELF to live in the present time, live is not that bad at all! After all, you let worry robs your future accomplishment and achievement in present time.  Thomas |
