One of my goals that I had set since starting on SOGR is to buy a group of restaurants for which I used to work little over two years ago. Yesterday, out of the blue, I got some information that led me to believe that they may be in trouble, so I did some quick checking around and found that they have shrunk from 28 to 14 operating units. They have shut down the stores that were not profitable, two of which I know were at one point profitable, because I used to manage them. I am doing some more research to find out what to offer for the remaining units. I have worked in Restaurant Industry for over 20 years and know how to make them profitable. I also have a core group of people that think on the same plane and can put together a team for a quick turn around, 12 to 18 months. I am looking to put together a team of investors (or finding a single investor). I would say the total package would be around a Million USD. Venture Capital or Equity Holding are both workable situations. If you know anyone that would be a good candidate, please let me know. My email is Rhooda@houston.rr.com I am very excited about this opportunity and I know it will succeed. Be Different, Be Yourself. I am Grateful for being both www.misterweirdo.com

You are actually going to do this. I have a sense that there may be a solution to the funding question in the area of "sweat equity".... Can you see that happening? bronwen

MisterWeirdo, I wish you much success in your venture! I have been in the restaurant business my entire life and it gets in your blood! I love it! My family has been in the business since 1932 when they came over from Germany. I, at present, don't have any spare cash to invest, but if you would need any advice or information perhaps I could be of help to you. Again, I wish you much success and I admire your grit! Have a Great Holiday! Bill

Thank You all for your support and well wishes. Things are progressing and I will keep you posted on the progress. I am planning on meeting with two members of my team that I am putting together after Christmas to further evaluate the opp and spell out everyone's expectations. I also have some people show some generosity in form of possible financing. "All things are possible for him who believes" Be Different, Be Yourself.
