Hi! My name is Debi and I'm in a bit of a financial mess right now but trying not to drift off course. Maybe I'll find something to be grateful for after all is said and done. I am very much looking forward to learning how to implement SOGR into my life. I am almost finished with my first reading and know that this is what I need to do. Any support and suggestions graciously accepted.

Since you asked for suggestions, here's my best one for now:

START with gratitude. Look for things to be grateful for NOW, not later. This is a MAJOR key to SOGR. Wink

It's not difficult, it's fun, and it gets better as you keep looking. Find as many things (people, etc.) as you can to appreciate right now and then find some more.

When this becomes a habit, you'll just naturally see wonderfulness all around you. It's really great, changes EVERYTHING. Big Grin

Love & blessings, and, of course--
EXPECT Success!

Hi Debi

to add to Rebecca's excellent suggestion, how about relaxing and accepting who you are right now and finding qualities in yourself to appreciate.

P.S. thanks Rebecca, sometimes I think I know what I know, but when crisis hits, it brings gratitude and appreciation to a new frontier, and I have a much deeper appreciation for SOGR now. Smile

Blessings
Kevin

Welcome Debi! Great to have you with us on this evolutionary process of living a certain way! Great suggestions already here, something that you may find also useful is to use the Find function to look up information that has been shared before on the forum and threads. There is a fabulous amount of wisdom within these threads and you can find lots of ideas/suggestions/insights etc here.

Look forward to 'talking' more with you.

Well, it's been over a year and I obviously didn't learn much the last time around so I am back and going to go through this again. If I repeat the course enough times it will stick, right?

Hi Debi

It is not actually going through the course that will get results, it is the state of mind with which you approach it and doing EXACTLY what you are told.

I am hoping that the new course will incorporate many things that I found really helped my success.

The main thing is to not try and work out the HOW, just accept that on faith. We all seem to have a blockage re this and say I need to know how it works before it will work for me.

I plant seeds regularly, and have no idea how that miracle works, I just accept and know that if I look after them, they will grow into a plant.

Why do we not accept these teachings the same way, there is plenty of proof that it works, it just seems that we always think that the universe is going to treat us differently to others.

Treat your thoughts the same way you treat those seeds, just water them, feed them, and watch them grow.

Hope that gives you a renewed vigour for doing the course again.

Abundance to All

Hi Debbie and Carolyn! It's great to have both of you back!

Croz has made some great points!

I have found that it's not "Getting Through" the course but "Getting From" the course that counts!

Be good to yourself, live life passionately and always, always expect success!! I don't know how long I will live, but I'll live until I die!!
