Hi there guys, I have been studying the new course over the last few days and am not quite sure if I am quite understanding the whole idea or not.

Is it fair to say that self hypnosis could be a useful tool to use as a form of staying positive and developing into the person you would like to see yourself as?

I have realised that I am a little impatient with myself at times, when learning/partaking in activities and so give up before giving myself/situation a chance to develop. Anyone else like this, any comments on overcoming this challenge of mine?

Yes Andrew,

Hypnosis is what has been going on all your life, (a big clue to its effects is in Life Lab 9!).

We have all been hypnotised in one way or another our whole lives. You experience certain 'triggers' which set off emotions upon hearing or seeing things/situations almost on a daily basis. We are all working to change our reactions to certain 'triggers' eg; what happens when you get a bill in the mail? How do you feel/respond?

You can imagine that to change your reactions/feelings toward something will take some time and patience considering you are dealing with a life-time of present attitudes/thinking.

We are all on this forum digging into our subconscious minds to change the way we think, to think in the certain way. That's why Wattles has said not to take in any other philosophies or negative views as we work to think only in a certain way, at least until we become rich.

I think all the work you do during this course is a form of self hypnosis. I personally have tried hypnosis to eliminate negative thinking in the past. I'm doing it every day. But you mustn't give up! Be kind to yourself and most of all be patient
