Hello everyone,
My name is Anoinette and I live in Souhern California. I actually stumbled across the SOGR book while reading another book. In this book he kept making quotes of Mr. Wattles SOGR book and referencing it often throughout the book. So I said to myself, "Who is this guy, Wally Wattles?" So I Googled him and I saw a free download for the SOGR book and I downloaded it. Now, before I read this book I had never really had a real desire or a thought of actually being rich. I was only interested in being out of debt and having enough money in my bank account so that my bills were always paid on time and getting the necessities for my kids, with extra money in my account for some entertainment. At first I thought that the SOGR was yet another book on how to make money and I was hesitant on reading it at first, but the quotes that was being made from the book in the grattitude book that I was reading made me really curious about the book so I downloaded and read it. Well I was blown away. It was nothing like I thought it was going to be. Everything in it rings so true for me. I thought, "Yeah, I want to be rich". My husband and I have 5 kids that we are providing for and we want to give them the things that we never had. We want to put them all through college without obtaining loans and to have money in a trust fund set up for each of them so that when they turn 21 they will have a jump start in life with a significant amount of money in their bank accounts. And also, like Mr. Wattles says, the best way to help others is to help yourself first and be all that you can be first and that is by being rich and then showing others how they can do it too. Well I don't want to go on and on but to make a long story short I Googled Mr. Wattles again and I stumbled across Rebecca's website SOGR for Practical Geniuses Course. I think that naming your own price for the course is a great idea and I admit that I was one of the ones who wasn't going to get the course because I was embarrassed about the small amount of money that I had to pay for the course. I think that it is worth so much more! Then I read her special message and I said, "Wow, every bone in my body is telling me to get this course", so I just went for it and bought the course, and here I am. I am so anxious to get started that I can hardly contain myself. I am really looking forward to ommunicating with you all through this forum, which by the way is a great idea from Rebecca to put the forum together. Thank you for taking the time to read this post. Peace! Antoinette |

Hello, Antoinette!
Welcome to the forum. You will find that choosing to take this course and post to these forums is one of the best decisions you have ever made. It has changed my life for the better and turned my thinking completely around. One bit of advice that we try to give every new person: Be sure that as you do the course exercises that you go slowly. Give each lesson time to really sink in before you move on to the next one. There is really no rush or hurry. The SOGR can work for you now, even before you start the course. You certainly don't have to finish it before good things start coming to you. AS for the forums, you are so right! We all help and support each other and we are always thrilled to read posts from new people. I look forward to reading more of your exciting journey! Love and blessings, Rachel |

Hi Antoinette,
Welcome to the course and to these forums from a fellow Southern Californian! My first a-HA moment was that I was already rich! Perhaps you may discover that as well! I am grateful for everything that I am, do or have and I am grateful for everything that I am becoming, will be doing or will have in the future! Be good to yourself, live life passionately and always, always expect success!! I don't know how long I will live, but I'll live until I die!! Tom Strong |

Rachel,
Thanks so much for the advice on taking it slow and to remind me that the SOGR can work for me now even before I finish the course. Sometimes I tend to rush through things so I must work on making a conscious effort to go slow. Thank you also Abdul and Tom for your kind words and warm welcome. I look forward to conversing with you all more in the future. Thank you for taking the time to read this post. Peace to you all! Antoinette |
