Hello everyone,
I started the SOGR about 6 months ago and then fell of the wagon. recently my life was not looking as rosy as it could and I was attracted/lead back to SOGR. So here i am. I started practicing the principles of 'attitude of gratitude' and miracles started to happen within my relationship.
My husband and i own a small piece of land with our own vegetable garden, chickens, geese and goats. I was feeling overwhelmed and frustrated that he was not intersted in helping me do any of the hard work. so i began to resent him and blame him for my unhappiness. Always a good way to avoid responsibility.

I started re-reading the e-zine and changed my mind [attitude] and just slowly and happily started doing the biggest thing that was 'too hard by myself' only 1 week ago.
I needed to keep coaching mysef [everytime i started to get grumpy that it was hot and hard work], that i was lucky that i could be doing these tasks. And guess what? my husband came outdoors to help. We worked well together and i was not nagging him because he was not doing it 'perfectly'. We got the difficult jobs done, so now i can concentrate on other enjoyable activites.
I am working on Session 5 - anyone else looking at how your life has changed in the pst 10 years?
Looking forward to 'talking 'with you

Hello Vicki,

Welcome back!

Isn't that interesting? Only last weekend I was watching a documentary with Pallon, the Omnivore's dilemma guy. From what he said, I thought, my CMI should be to have my own piece of land with a few animals of every kind.

And here you are and you are describing exactly that blessing Smile

Caroline loves coincidences especially because she does not believe in them Big Grin

I do not have a partner and there was no partner in my CMI. Maybe you can find a few city kids who would like to experience life in the country?
Your wonderful attitude has already attracted your husband, good for you!

Caroline
