I figured I'd best put-my-foot-in-the-door and introduce myself. I am Bea. I work in music, teaching for fun and therapy. I also bring other 'tools' to the class and utilize what feels like the best fit for the client.
My challenge is to accept/expand/acknowledge and bring more 'money' to myself for the services that I give. I do have a bit of a block, my aim is to gently replace that 'block' with wealthy knowledge, so here I am.

Welcome Bea!

I think I noticed in another post that we have a similar 'block' of pricing our work or services at a proper level.

This is a wonderful place to discuss issues in how to re-think yourself. Full of helpful people.

Glad to have you with us!

Best of Success!!!

Welcome, Bea, to the course and to these forums!

As Verne, I had read your other post! I have had several businesses in the past that I had to build until they became profitable!

I am assuming that doing the Music Training Business is something that you love; Inspired Action! If so hang in there, continue your sphere of influence, gradually raise your prices and you will do well!

And remember that if you are doing something that you love that it's not work, its play! Have fun with it and teach in a way that your students will have fun with it also!

Be good to yourself, live life passionately and always, always expect success!! I don't know how long I will live, but I'll live until I die!!

Yes Tom, I love teaching music, I thoroughly enjoy my students, and they do not leave, they seem to be lifetimers! We have a great time, full of joy.
Yes Verne, I do need to price my work at a proper level. I think I feel guilty raising my fees to the on-going clients. I do need to work on that.
Because I have done so much work 'volunteering', and still do, to a lesser degree, I confuse myself on this issue. I have great skills, and am a very sought after teacher when I run a class. So I know I am worthy, respected and liked. I am reluctant to ask for the 'bucks'.
I am pleased to know I am not alone in my 'block'...but by jeepers, I will get past it!
Feedback is greatly appreciated and acknowledged.
Thankyou,
Bea
