Hi, thought i would just say hello to everyone. I chewed up the book the other night found myself here wanting to know more and help myself understand it some more Smile.

I am having a bit of a time getting my head around some ideas and statements due to previous studies and ongoing beliefs but im sure ill find a way to make it work.

I have been aware of methods like sogr through the secret and what not but am excited to find a no nonsense guideline to obtaining your goals.

Anyway thats all from me, cya

Hi Cpt,

Welcome to the course and to these forums!

As you mentioned SOGR is a no nonsense guideline to obtainin your goals. Although I had read many authors on the subject, many who echoed Wally's writings, I found the book by Wally and the course by Rebecca to be the most direct route to where I wanted to be.

After having chewed up the book, you may want to take a little more time and chew on it. You don't have to make it work, I suggest that you make it easy! Relax into it until it is part of you. The same thing is true of the course, this is not competitive, it's not a race. The prize goes to any of us who understand and practice the principles - rarely to the one who finished first.

Be good to yourself, live life passionately and always, always expect success!! I don't know how long I will live, but I'll live until I die!!

Hi Cpt,

Welcome. Always a pleasure to meet a fellow Aussie.

I agree with Tom regarding relaxing into this stuff. Take it easy, maybe read a chapter a day and do a Life Lab every couple of days or so - it's not a race. I read chapter 17 (The Summary) every evening before going to sleep and do my best to also read it each morning just to keep me focused. I'm enjoying deliberately taking it slowly, it reminds me that I am operating on the CREATIVE not the COMPETITIVE plane.

You'll find lots of good stuff on this forum and you're right, it's great to have such a no nonsense, practical guide to creating your goals.

As Rebecca says, "Expect success!"

thanks your responses guys, yeah i guess taking a bit easier and taking a more natural progression of understanding is a good route to take.

I have thought of printing out the last chapter and reading it often or making a poster of the points and putting it somewhere important. I will have to get around to that Smile.

Yes it is nice to see a fellow Australian on these boards Smile.

cya Smile
