I am just beginning my SOGR journey. I believe I have been able to apply the vibrations analogy to my thinking. I've only just started to practice this but when I'm here, right now in a situation and I try to look at the vibrations I am giving off -- it helps me! I want my vibrations to be positive for everyone involved in that situation. I want them to have abundance in all areas of their life. I want them to be prosperous.
Again, this is all new to me but I believe I'm on to something! Brian |

Hi, Brian! I think we're both on to something here! I'm excited about what I am learning and, like you, am just getting started. I look forward to seeing your progress. You guys are so right on! You can tell because of how good you feel. By the way, if you ever need someone to tell you that you have the right answer, you probably don't.

Now it's time to practice......
I can tell my vibrations/feelings are not what I want them to be. My wife and I have a number of high dollar expenses that are now becoming more real..... emergency room costs...$1,000 air conditioner repair......$900 major dental work.......$5,200 restaurant equipment repair......$500 I can tell I'm uptight about this. Fortunately we can make payments on each of these costs but certainly will be "limping" from a financial standpoint for some time. Any suggestions on what I can do to change how I feel about this? Thanks, Brian |

Step one, stop focusing on what you don't want: feelings of fear, worry, lack, etc. Step two, do focus on what you do want: feelings of abundance, ease, prosperity. Step three, do anything you can think of to feel as good as possible, whether you think it has anything to do with work or not. Step four, allow yourself to believe that you deserve to have all that you need and want. Step five, be grateful for all that you do have. Step six, notice and be grateful for all the wonderful new things coming int your life! Okay, you could totally do this in way fewer steps, but I thought I'd break it down into manageable bites for you. I promise, if you let go of all the negative stuff and focus on feeling good -- it WILL be fun and easy and everything will be great! Much love and blessings, Rachel |

Thanks Rachel!
I know that when I'm feeling gratitude, I don't have the fear. And I do deserve to have abundance in all areas of my life. I need to shift from fear to gratitude. Thanks for the steps! Brian |

Well, let's see. You could do what the LifeLab shows and put more emphasis on that "fortunately" part, on how good it is that someone has already trusted you financially -- has already provided these benefits to you and now you get to uphold your end of the transaction. Also, you could stop and notice the second half of what you wrote in that first sentence. Why affirm that you're going to be "limping from a financial standpoint for quite some time?" If that's what you claim and what you give your focus, faith, and feeling to, that's what'll happen. We get what we expect, not what we say we want or say we believe. And most of us -- up 'til now -- don't even notice that we're thinking and saying this stuff, so we don't notice the connection between it and what shows up. Love & blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |

Awesome and thanks for the insights!
Up 'til now, when circumstances presented themselves that were less than desirable, I had an automatic forgetter that caused me to loose sight of what I really want my life to be about. That's the old me. My journey has changed and I'm filled with joy and excitement for what is around the corner! My focus, faith, and feeling is directed towards abundance!!! Brian |

OK... so, I have a question. Mark and I have been wanting a particular electronics item, one for each of us, that would make our lives a LOT easier. I have actually been envisioning having one and expressing gratitude for it, but had not yet seen a way to get it. Last night, as we were finishing up the questions for LL 1, we got to the one about the amount of consumer credit available. (We are each doing our own worksheet, but working off of the same figures since most of it is joint.) I was going through all the credit cards that we have (amazing the amount of credit that we have been granted!) and when I mentioned the amount available on an electronics store card that I have, Mark said something along the lines of, "I wonder if they have ...." The amount of credit on that card is more than enough to purchase one of these items. We had been talking earlier about a bonus check that we are close to getting from our network marketing business and whether it would be appropriate to use it for this item instead of paying down debt with it. I was really feeling conflicted about that. It would be enough to get one of the items we want, but we had already decided that much of what we make is to go toward getting us out of debt. I just wasn’t sure what to do, but felt that if I could actually get this item, it would inspire me to do more toward making more money as it would be a tangible reward for my “hard” work. Well, I went and looked on this store's website and yep! They do have it! Only it's not available online and none of our local stores have it in stock at this time. Now, that bonus check would be enough to pay off one of the purchases on that credit card that was on an 18 months/no interest and is coming due at the end of summer with quite a bit yet to pay. We could get this item on the same kind of arrangement. It would be sort of like swapping them out! I got so excited that I couldn't sleep! Is that inspired? It seems like it to me, yet I am having thoughts of “You need to get out of debt first before spending this kind of money.” Seems like that is a thought that needs to be kicked to the curb! Am I right about that? I know all this SOGR stuff flies in the face of conventional wisdom, so I just want to make sure I’m moving in the right direction. Then, I’ll envision that nifty thing being in the store when we go to look! Godspeed, Betty "Don't work for money. Responding to Betty's reply!
I'm sure that Susie Orman would say pay off the debt; but I would make the purchase! If it would save you a lot of time you would have more time to spend contemplating your CMI's and then taking inspired action toward your CMI's; and more riches will come to you! Be good to yourself, live life passionately and always, always expect success!! I don't know how long I will live, but I'll live until I die!! Tom Strong |

Thank you, Tom! I'm quite sure you are right about Suze Orman and a bunch of others like her, but we are leaning toward making the purchase. It must not be time yet because we went to the store tonight and looked, but we couldn't even order it. So, I will continue to contemplate it and see when I get the inspiration to go to the store again... or the money to get it somewhere else! Godspeed, Betty "Don't work for money. I agree with Tom.
Just one more thing, though. Try spending less time "deciding." In a world of abundance you can have ALL that you need and want NOW. Thinking about where to allocate limited resources is a hidden directive to limit your resources. Just envision what you want and allow it to come in whatever way the universe chooses. And remember to be happy. That's really important. I love all your enthusiasm and diligence with this course. You'll do great! Love and Blessings, Rachel |

Betty, only YOU can answer the question. But I'd like to point out a couple of things. Getting out of debt focuses on.......wait for it. DEBT! How about focusing on financial freedom? AAAAAAAAnnnnnndddd. You are seeing only two ways to get your techno thingamabobber. A bonus check and more of the same--debt. (Or opportunity, depending on how you see it) How about imagining ten other ways that it could come to you? Like, it could appear out of thin air. (If that was the only way) or, you could find one with a note saying, "we don't need this anymore, whoever finds it, it's yours." or, someone you love could give it to you as a gift of gratitude. or, Cloudy With a Chance of Gadgets? or, your MLM business could suddenly triple and you'd have more money. or,or,or. Now you make some up. |

Less time deciding, huh? Gonna have to work on that one! Thanks for the advice and the vote of confidence!

Thanks, Dawn! Somehow I missed this post earlier. You are so right on both counts. I know that about the debt... I actually have most of our payments being made now through a program that our company made available to us. They call it "Wealth Management." I think I shall adopt that terminology from this point forward! And thanks for pointing out that I was only seeing two ways of getting my "techno thingamabobber". (hehe... I like that!) I really am limiting God if He is wanting to bring it to me in some other way, aren't I? Time to make some course corrections! Hey, Rachel! Thanks for pointing out Dawn's post to me!
