Hello my friends: I’ve been having a bit of a problem (for lack of a better word) with the action process. I never know when to take action and I would like a little guidance in the matter. My vision for this year, which is an important part of my Big Picture or CMI, is to go back to NJ where I want to be, but to do that I need to have enough money to cover my mortgage for at least 3 month while I get started in my new environment. I’ve been visualizing and is all good but when I get an opportunity I don’t know if it’s me pushing it or if it’s an action I need to take in order to make my vision come true. For example, I got an offer of starting an Insurance company in NJ which will put me in a good position to go back even though is 6 month from now, to do that I require training which I’m willing to do, but also require to call people on the phone which is not my forte, I actually feel sick and full of excuses when I have to call somebody that I haven’t previously met. It is said that the action should feel good, should give you joy, that’s the way we know is the right thing to do, well in this case everything feels good, it’s a great opportunity, it’s my way back to where I want to be, but just to think I have to make phone calls, (they are not cold calls but to me it’s like they were), I get all uncomfortable.
I would really appreciate any thoughts in the matter; advice is always welcome or similar experiences, anything. Thanks and Lots of love to everyone Luz Maria I am that I am |

Hi Luz Maria
Just something on the calling bit.... I am actually experimenting with a new thought project. And that is, when I get a feeling-thought of calling and it doesn't feel good to me, and change it immediately to what I like about my current business situation or what being successful in my current endeavours brings me. Like, in the mornings, when I feel a sense of discomfort making calls, I immediately think something else, like how it feels really good to be able to be drinking my favourite cocktail watching the sunset, and then getting that easy feeling again. This is probably a little different from what people do I suppose, as I found that the more i try to focus on what I need to do, the more resistance I seem to feel toward doing it. So, I have had some success with this method already, but I am going to continue with my little experiment to see what happens So, like me, maybe calling needn't be your forte to be successful in your new position, or at least when you reframe it as a gateway to something exciting in your CMI. Let's see how my little project turns out Blessings Kevin "I think of life itself now as a wonderful play that I've written for myself... and so my purpose is to have the utmost fun playing my part." I sometimes do something similar. Only I skip making the list of the "negative" parts. I find those will come up on their own, actually. And I only want to harmonize myself with the POSITIVE. So I play that game of imagining everything GOOD that could happen. I like the little "test" I have written about in The Certain Way from an author very much in tune with SOGR. He says just let yourself feel everything you feel and if you get a "hell yes!" feeling then go with it. And, he adds, any time you don't get a "hell, yes!" then that's a "hell, no." (Which doesn't necessarily mean the action isn't a "good" one; there's just something going on with the TIMING and you're not ready to take it yet because your THINKING isn't in harmony with it. So the first "action" to take is to get that thinking in line.) Love & blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |

Hi Luz Maria,
I've been thinking about your situation and question a lot. I can see why you are feeling a bit unclear. One idea I find useful when making big decisions is to write a list of all the positives of certain plan of action and then to write a list of all the negatives. Add to both lists as much as you can - write down EVERYTHING you can think of. When you go to bed, take a glass of water with you and your lists. Also take a pen and some paper. Read both lists, put the lists under your pillow. Drink half the water and say to your subconscious mind - thank you for processing this information, let me know by the morning the best action to take. If you have dreams and wake up during the night, write the dreams and ideas on the piece of paper then go back to sleep. When you wake up in the morning, drink the other half of the water saying the words "thank you subconscious mind for letting me know the best action to take with this situation". See how you feel, re read the lists, if you had dreams and wrote them down, read your notes and see what comes up for you. This is one process that I have found very useful when big decisions have to be made and I'm finding I'm too-ing and fro-ing about the whole thing. We are simply amazingly insightful beings and our subconscious minds know EVERYTHING and will let us know when we are truly open. All the very best with your illumination about this. Let us know how you go. I look forward to your feedback. Carolyn |
