Hi,
I was cranking through the lessons had a couple of good days and hit a bit of a wall last night.

I woke up with anxiety around the process and "is it real/will it work". And am tense today at work...
In reading the boards there are quite a few posts about relax, enjoy the process and slow down.
So I will and continue to be grateful. thanks for being out there...

Hi Mugwai,

RELAX!!!!! This can be alot of fun if you let. I have said this before- when most of us start the course we have an immediate need we want to address.
This thinking tends to make us want to rush to the end of the book/course. Mr. Wattles tells us if we follow the principals we will without a doubt get rich.
He also says that failure is impossible, I know when I read that I was like "BRING IT ON I'M READY!"
What I have found and I think it's true for many others as well is that as we continue through the course we discover that it's a much gentler, subtle kind of process that can only unfold it's self to you when you relax and let it happen.
It is not a complete step 1, 2,3, an bam your happy/rich kindof process. I think that our over zealousness is a form of resistance somehow. So the more we try to force and rush the process the more frustrating it will become. In another post your wrote that you are committed to the process and I think that's great and now I understand why Rebecca makes a big deal about participant making a commitment to finish the course because somewhere along the lessons- if you/we don't give up you "feel" a shift in your thinking and in the way you feel. As long as you don't give up- you'll be fine.
Early in the course after countless people -including Rebecca also told me to relax and enjoy the process. I just started telling my self that there is no rush good things are coming my way. It will happen for you too -just trust the process and have fun.
The crazy thing about all of this is that I can't tell excatly when or what caused the shift it just happened, and the other thing that happened was I didn't feel the need to rush through the lessons anymore- I sort of let them speak to me, and this timing has been good for me. Sometimes I have an urge to complete a lesson, and when I download it will be the answer to question or concern that I have been dealing with in my life or a subject that I been wondering about.
Sorry this was so long, but I hope it helps and just believe that your fine, and all is well!

Enjoy the Journey,

T

Ummm..... I wonder how much money I would have if I got a dollar for everytime Rebecca has posted " relax and have fun with this" Smile

T,

Thanks for your post from me too. Like Vibrant (love her name!) I haven't "done" anything on the course for the last couple of days for various reasons and was beginning to worry about it - you know, oh, I'm not working fast enough or hard enough, oh, oh, worry worry ..... Confused

But reading your post has already relaxed me. Those "various reasons" must have happened for a reason! Smile

I have let go of the worries now and will continue with the course at my pace.

These forums really are absolutely the best way to keep on track!

Vibrant, thanks for your post too.

Mugwai, hang in there and keep hanging around these forums - we can all do it if we help each other.

Have a fantastic life and enjoy the journey!

Bill

Two excellent quotes T. Thank you for mentioning this. I had considered that my attempt at moving through the LL's fast was competitiveness. I hadn't considered it as a form of resistance as well.

I had the very same experience regarding the shift in thinking. I can't put a time on it but it just seemed to appear. I like to use the analogy of "when the student is ready, the teacher appears". When my shift of thinking occured it became "well I know I am a student and I know I am ready for the teacher".

Hi Mugwai:

Mr. Wattles says IT DOES Work, with a mathmatical science, just like 2+2 = 4. I recently hit the proverbial 'wall' & was greatly helped by the members of this Forum. Seems many of us have had the same experience!

I think the key is to remember that this is an ongoing process, noit a one time event & staying connnected to 'like minded' people WILL help us go through those times, learn the lessons, and move on down the path to the next success!

Don't quit before the miracle happens (and it will happen)!

Hi all,
I love you guys!!!! OK so we have a snowstorm this morning...I took the longer way to work. On the way I thought of things to be grateful for...and just decided that work would be there when I got there; it was..."relax and enjoy the process".
Hmmm. Where have I heard that before.
Thanks so much. I am grateful that I have these postings to read and I an grateful that all of you put forth the effort to help me along...

Hi Mugwai: Just trust the process will work...do as instructed and trust and look for even the minutest sign of 'growth' or 'momentum' toward getting rich..as a member who found a quarter on the ground..she saw it as a sign of her momentum to getting rich..and by the Law of Attraction you will attract more and more of those experiences...it's all in the 'trust' Blessings

It never ceases to amaze me as to how we continue to discover the perfect thing in every moment. Take this thread for instance. I was just pondering how much time it is taking me to work through the course. Two and a half months, and I am still only on LL16. I read where others zip through and wonder at times if I am a tough case, but in reading this thread, I am reminded of the joy that is at the center of all true riches.

Thank you.

I was coming to this conclusion last evening for myself. I was feeling like I was bulldozing through (even though I'm not) so I took sometime to counteract the struggling feeling and move into a more relaxed and Fun frame of mind. It helped for me to pay attention to the feelings and what I was thinking and doing to promote them. I felt a lot better as I drifted off to sleep after a hot bath, tea, and looking for images in magazines for my CMI. I'm in the reminder thinking/feeling of Vibrant's mantra "life flows easily." And always to be in the space of gratitude. Thanks for everyone's contribution to this forum. Jazz
