uptill now, I used to think buying expensive things is an unnecessary show of wealth and an affront to those who don't have it. For example I used to think buying the latest model of car was unnecessary when one can get a cheaper one for half the price. the remaining money can then be given to charity if one has no need of it.
Now when i see someone driving the latest car i see them as someone to be congratulated for having achieved such a feast.
successfully yours.

Congratulations Abdul!

I would call that an a-HA moment!

Not only is that person enjoying the latest car but he is helping the people who made it to earn a living!

Also if someone wasn't buying the best and latest things very few improvements would be made, this type of purchasing improves the things that are less expensive as well!

Be good to yourself, live life passionately and always, always expect success!! I don't know how long I will live, but I'll live until I die!!

I wholeheartedly agree with you on that Abdul!

They are certainly someone to be congratulated, and in the course of expressing congratulations, I would consider that you are actually expressing gratitude to them, for the joy you feel, that they have the latest model car.

Along with expressing your gratitude to them comes the realisation, belief and understanding that it is not sinful to be rich and that you have every right to be rich, and to desire and ask for anything you want from the universe.

As you read the book more and work your way through the 'lifelabs', you will come to realise that 'gratitude' is one of the cornerstones of understanding what TSOGR is all about.

As Tom mentioned earlier, and as the saying goes in TSOGR community, "it is easy to do what you want to do, and have what you want to have", but first of all, "you must be the person you want to be", then the rest will fall in line.

Be happy, joyful and grateful for everything in life, for by being in this state of mind, will your thoughts and desires be open to communication with the "formless intelligence".

Blessings
