I was wondering just exactly how often do I need to envision my dream? And do I envision all of my dreams, or should I only envision one at a time?

Rebecca is alwyas telling us to relax and have fun. I interpret that to mean you should envision your CMI as often as it gives you pleasure. If it feels like work, it isn't right. I see nothing worng with having more than one CMI and envisioning each any time you want to do so.

Thanks for a great discussion topic Brenna.
I think Kazzie was on the mark with her comments. I believe this is a personal issue - do what works for you. Here are a couple of things that I have discovered about me regarding this topic: Up 'til now I was one of those who "recited positive affirmations". I guess I was not very passionate about many of them because I tended to recite them and then forget them. I realize now that I put pressure on myself to do this daily or I would get this feeling of loss. I have learned that (for me) having a deadline on them caused me to focus more on the "how" and on being in control. This was just the competitive me coming forward. What a relief to learn that there is a better way! The passion and excitement I have for my CMI's now carries me through so that I look at them whenever I feel like it. I don’t feel pressure to do this in any specific timeframe. I no longer beat myself up for missing a day because I do it when it feels right. Personally, I have multiple CMI’s and break them down by the various aspects of my life (personal, business, financial, etc.). Some of them overlap a little. I learned a lot by searching the forums for “Clear Mental Image” or “CMI”. Richcroc (Claudia) has posted quite a bit on this topic and these helped as well. I try to make sure I use words such as excited, euphoric, grateful, enthusiastic, ecstatic, etc. because of the feelings they convey. I also include the reason I want the CMI to manifest by adding something like “so that…” at the end of each. Dave "I am Appreciative for everything I have received and for everything I will receive today and in the future!" |

Well, I find that if there's something I really want and I'm all excited and enthusiastic about it, then it's hard NOT to think about it. If you have to force yourself to think about this "dream," it's not likely really something you want. Love & blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |

If you REAlly want it all, then you'd be thinking about it all the time! You might want to do as Mr. Wattles says & spen some time contemplating your vision until it becomes so fixed in your mind that the slightest thought of ut triggers all sorts of enthusiam. If you're not excited about all of it, you reall don't want it.
