I hope this is the right place to ask this question. To some degree I lead a sheltered life because I work on avg 90hrs /wk so I haven't read the newspapers for some time. I don't watch a lot of telly so I don't really know a lot of rich people. Not knowing the rest of the course will i disadvantage myself with this.

Welcome Kris and Peter. I would like to suggest that you use the Find button to search on things like "Rich People" or any Life Lab number. This has been topic in the past and many good things have been written.

A couple of the key components here are:

- relax
- have fun
- practice

Additionally, I found it very helpful to spend time on the forums reading and writing. We all learn from each other so I hope you both will share your questions and experiences. By sharing, you will help others and you will help yourselves.

Peter, gosh, I don't think so! I'm heading back through the course for at least the fifth time (I get sidetracked and need to refocus)... and that part about listing people who are rich has always been a problem for me. Every time, I end up with celebrities! From my perspective, the first part of 'Practical Geniuses' is about establishing what we've been believing and thinking 'up 'til now', specifically so we can get past that.

My suggestion to you? Just keep on truckin'! This time through I'm only on LL2, and while I know this first part is important (and I'm even doing it this time with clean worksheets for a truly fresh start), it gets much better, much more relevant and way much more interesting very soon!

Not knowing a lot of rich people isn't a disadvantage!
