Hi,

I finished LL10 and want to go over the answers to make sure I did get the right ones and thereby the right ideas.

So:

1. People do not form a clear and definate mental picutre of what they want. They have only a vague and misty concepts of the things they want to do, to have or to become.

2. To form a clear mental image. A clear and definate mental picture of what you want. You cannot transmit and idea unless you have it yourself.

3. After he obtained these things in a few months it dawned upon him that he didnt not ask enough.

4.
a. A clear mental picture of what I want.

b. Purpose to realize it and bring to tangible expression.

c. Faith that the think is already mine and at hand, and all I have to do is take pocession of it.

5. "Focus on and express that desire to God."

Okay let me know what you guys got...

Jim

Just finished LL10 as well and here's what i came up with.

1. Don't have a clear and definite mental picture of their desire. Lack of gratitude. competitive mind.

2. Hold the image of your CMP with the most positive certainty and faith that it is being realized.

3. Discovered that he had not asked enough.

4.
a) Know what you want
b) Be specific
c) Be definite

5. Formulate your desire and impress that desire upon the formless substance.

Blessings to you all.

Thank you both Garcia and Paquita for replying.

Interesting how the answers are varying.

Dont be shy everyone, dig up your old lessons and see what you put down and post what you came up with.

I would like to see the answer key... Wink

Hi Jim and all,

This is my 3rd attempt to do this - I keep hitting the wrong button and disappearing what I wrote!!!

1) "You (I) cannot transmit an idea unless you (I) have it (my/)yourself." Having only a vague and misty concept of things that I want to do, to have and to become will not impress (my)your desires upon the Thinking Substance.

2) "I must form a clear and definite picture of what I want." and I must make clear, coherent statements about what I want. I need to know what I want and be specific and definite.
I must hold the clear mental picture continually in mind, bringing out all the 'delightful details' (I love that bit!).

3) He had not asked largely enough!

4) • Form a clear and definite picture of what I want.
• Make a coherent statement.
• Be specific and definite.

5) Hold my clear mental picture continually in mind; dwell upon it, bring out all the delightful details and hold my mind fixed upon the picture of what I want.

6) • Have PURPOSE: intend to have a result and have the determination to hold my CMI always in mind.
• I intend to bring my CMI into tangible expression.
• I have unwavering FAITH: my CMI is already mine - I have only to take possession of it.
• Have a clear FOCUS on my CMI.
• Tune into FEELINGS about my CMI and let those feelings guide me.
• Enter into full enjoyment of the things I want.
• See all that I want all around me all the time. Own the things I want and make use of them.
• Make my picture clear and distinct. Take possession of everything in it and have faith that it is mine.
• BE GRATEFUL! every day; as much before it manifests, as when it manifests.
• BE READY TO RECEIVE.
• Remember the goal: TO LIVE A LARGER LIFE.
• Imagine and ask LARGELY!!

The reason I had to keep doing it, is that I had to keep re-reading it - and every time I read it it makes me feel good!

Looks like I have to dig back in to #4 and look up that question in the book.

What page did people find the answer to that one.

Seems I am a bit off on that question.

Good to review this one again.
1. They try to create from the competitive plane instead of the creative plane. They believe that poverty and self sacrifice are part of the plan. They dont have a clear mental image of what they desire. They are not specific. They give in to mental laziness. Their desire is not strong. They do not have purpose or faith.

2. The initial step toward getting rich is to have a clear mental picture - specific and detailed.

3. He should have asked for more.

4. You must know specifically and definitely what you desire. You must want it bady enough so that it stays in your thoughts. You must have determination and faith.

5. Formulate the desire and dwell on the picture with strong desire, faith and determination. Live in the new realm, never wavering and believe you will receive. Be grateful.

6. Live in the mental environment. Let the desire and purpose be there all the time. Think in terms of present ownership and speak in terms of present ownership. Believe. Ask in gratitude and be open and ready to receive.

Yes, looks like I missed the point on question 4.

Everyone is refering to specifie and definate as the b. and c. steps to avoid sending out the "fuzzies" to the Universe.

I will redo LL-10 and read those chapters again and a bit slower.

But just as a check would the Professor (aka Rebecca) please take a look at this and give some words upon it.

Thanks
Jim

I notice that no one's of answers to #4 are exactly the same. I didn't find any specific reference to this in Chapter 6 or 8. Did anyone else?

Here are my answers...

1) Most people think they are pleasing God by not asking for what they really want.

2) Forming a thought is the first step.

3) That he did not ask for enough.

4)A: Know what you want, be specific and definite
B: Get a clear mental picture of it.
C: Hold the clear mental picture continually in mind, in full enjoyment of it, knowing purpose, and with faith and gratitude that is is already yours.

5)To tell God what I want.

6) Have gratitude for the clear mental image already being here for me to enjoy.

This was a really great exercise... I don't think the point is for everyone to have the same answers, but for everyone to get clear in their minds what the process is. And that is definitely what I got out of this exercise.
