As I went through the process of LL14 I noticed some interesting reactions.

Most things that I REALLY want to go do [or think I want to do] cost lots! [I have thought!] For example, I want to travel from Western Australia back to the USA and travel and fly the Rockies and Sierra Nevadas - some of the most magnificent country in God's creation. BUT - my thinking says that this requires way more financial resource than I have attracted of late, so as I was doing this part of the Lab, I found my gut tightening and felt a strong "need" to stop the process and "get back to work" on generating money NOW. [which by the way, hasn't been "working" anyway Roll Eyes]

I came to a conclusion that I am better to just pick "anything" as a desire and put the process into motion whilst I find my deep desires. Does that make sense? Any comments from others?

Hello,

I just signed up for the practical geniuses course a couple of days ago and I cannot wait to go into the next lesson every morning.

The most incredible suggestion Mr. Wattles makes is to stop "pushing it" and start creating. How do you create? It's different and unique for each human being. For me, a way to create is by getting inspiration from others as well as from my instincts. You mentioned doing "anything" as a possible solution to your problem of not attracting enough $$$. I keep making my vision more and more solid in my mind day by day. Do as recommended by the book and read things that support the Science of Getting Rich. I love poetry and to read books about how successful people made it themselves. Please, don't just do anything, but do those things you love and inspire you.

Let me quote two inspiring ideas from "Conversations with God" by japanese author
Toshu Fukami:
1.
Centering the mind cannot be done by sitting in the idle meditation.

Truth is reached by polishing the soul
Through the challenges of everyday life,
Through the magnificence and mystery of art.
(For me this illustrates the principle of using creativity to become rich)
2.
A careless man accomplishes little.

In all things, focused attention is critical.
What do you have to do to focus your attention?
All you have to do is start with something that interests you
And eventually you will find the way.
(So, please, don't just do anything)

I am already rich indeed. All I've ever wished for have become manifested in my life. My new clear vision makes me create the perfect future moment by moment.

SUCCESS,

Hi,

For me, I found it really helped just to focus on my vision, to read it everyday with feeling and picture myslelf living it.

Interestingly the things I had thought up till now were "on the back burner" for now for whatever reason are the ones which have started to come to fruition, and I would gues it was because I was not attached to them like I was many of the other things.

For example, I had always wanted to buy the home I grew up in from my Gran, who is now in a home, and she has always said she would never sell. It has been in a vision, yet almost as a "some, day, by the way", yet things have taken a hugely positive twist, my gran has decide she will sell it after all and things are moving forward.

Another example- I have always wanted a healing/training centre set in at least 25 acres of ground. That has been in my vision, again as a "someday" with no real attachment to it. Just this week, something has happened out of the blue which has moved that dream forward.

In my opinion it is a very clear vision, and faith and purpose and a total knowing that it (or something better) is coming to me, yet somehow being able to detach from it, and let go of the "must have this item, in this way"

Another book I have found hugely helpful is "spiritual Marketing" by Joe Vitale- in which he talks of 5 steps to manifesting- 1)know what youdon't want, 2)know what you do want 3)Get clear i.e. identify and clear out the old, up till now beliefs and clear them, 4)really feel and experience what is is like to be/have/ do your vision and 5) Let go of the outcome.

Some simple NLP/ psychology which might help- 1) set an intention for everything you do and for every day 2)"Cross Patterning" (term from Michael Reitz of Colorforlife- connect up your left and right brain for maximum efficincy, and get both working together- this is done by walking in a figure of 8 or drawing a figure of 8 on a piece of paper, also alternate lifting your right hand to your left knee and vice versa.

Hope this helps
Amanda

Hello Martin, Amanda, everybody else who reads;

I am definitely being transformed by this proccess of taking the book SOGR to heart. My heart's desires are becoming a reality almost instantly. By thinking about my clear mental images (visions) 24/7 , believing I can Be, Do, and HAVE everything my heart desires.

There is no negativity in me, and I am constantly learning about others. I am becoming the best I can be by sharing and especially by what I get in value from each one of you. Thanks for the incredible encouragement I have received from you all in the forum.

I had no idea that the secret to becoming rich could have been revealed and easily applied overnight by a young guy like me. The more I keep creating the more I get excited, fired up!

A very wise man once said :

Reaching the stage
Where you yearn to understand more,
That alone is enough to be considered
Progress along the path to self-growth.

It is my most sincere desire that everyone in the world can be inspired to want to understand more. I desire to be an instrument in the hands of God to reach the souls of as many fellow human beings as I can.

Infinite Abundance,
Ricarte

Hey Martin,
Great question (thanks!). It sounds to me that your up-until-now comfort zone is lingering too long.

Practice escaping your comfort zone by doing small things you are uncomfortable with.

One thing I have done to escape my old comfort zone is to go into a McDonalds and order a pineapple pizza... (try it!) It's liberating and costs nothing.

Another useful thing I do is to window shop outside of my up-until-now price range.

I make real estate agents take me to houses that cost half a million dollars and I go through the business for sale classified with an eye that ignors the price tag - just looking at the businesses in terms of their ROI and assets and that sort of thing.

It's working for me. I actually learned that something I THOUGHT I wanted - a big, new house - actually holds no real interest for me... and 3 or 4 hundred thousand for a business doesn't seem like a lot of money anymore. (It just takes practice)

Peace.
