Oh how I would love to breeze through this faster than my snail's pace. Every LL is so valuable. But I suppose by having it in my mind for several weeks, it is helping me internalize. But I digress.
I was thinking about CMI and how different people learn differently. I've read we learn on three different levels, visual, auditory, and kinesthetically. I'm pretty visual, so show me something, and I can do it. Some people learn well by hearing. And others just feel it. My guess is that using all three would accelerate the learning process. But for those who are not so visual, it might be well for them to record affirmations or verbage about their CMI and listen to it often. For those more visual, imagining, using vision boards, and mind mapping and movies. And for kinestetic, I am not really sure but being able to feel it. Now I know Phil will say we should feel it anyway. :-) But those were my thoughts. I took some action that was rather a leap of faith. I am having an EFT/abundance seminar next weekend in Tx. I set it up with no guests reserved, but I am taking action and I no however it turns out, it will pay off. I had a client tell me today that I should be charging $200 an hour for what I am doing after helping her release a 40 yr old traumatic childhood experience. That felt great. When my introductory special is over in a couple of weeks, I will probably start charging more of what it is worth. (More action!) And so while I was on the treadmill this morning, I listened to Life Lab 22 and then I listed all the things I desired in my mind and I felt very happy. I desire a few very simple things for success, and I will keep taking action until I reach it. |

Hi Dawn-
I've heard about the different ways of learning, and I am definitely a hearing/reading type, and then very scientific. I size things up very accurately and then make very sound, logical conclusions, but many times do not follow up on them, probably because they have not sunk into me in a deep enough way. A more visual or kinesthetic approach would be helpful I'm sure. Not sure what I could do in a physical way, but creating a clear mental picture seems to be right on target. BTW, what is CMI? I support your decision to leap out in faith, and also to charge less than you could nominally get otherwise. You're taking action doing what you love to do, and giving back in the process. Receiving will complete the circuit. Where in Texas is your seminar? Funds are very limited right now, and I may not even be in the state, as I am planning to move to Boulder shortly, but you never know. I'm in San Antonio, and have been wanting to do something with EFT for some time now. Please let me know what the details are. Keep up the good attitude- Greg |

Sorry Greg, I just saw this. I don't always get to read every word of all the posts in my daily digest. I did raise my general prices, I kept a special for SOGR students, and I postponed my seminar. You can see those details on my link below. Click on Healing Hands Seminars.
And once again, when I let go, attendees showed up. Two have signed up for the new date in July. Let go, let go, let go. PS, CMI is clear mental image. Do a search in the forums for all kinds of thoughts and ideas on it. |

Hi Dawn,
I've come to believe the 3 learning modalities as commonly taught are not complete. What's missing is spiritual learning. Kinesthetic accounts for physical touch but nothing about feeling the emotions and the spiritual connection. As I go through the Life Labs, Aha's continue to happen and it's not when I've learned or understand the concept but when it's a deep feeling that floods me with feeling and emotions. To me, it's a spiritual understanding that goes beyond the intellect. When I tap and and have an emotional release, it's beyond seeing, hearing or touching. It's touching and freeing my spirit. That's when the lesson is not only learned but becomes part of my fabric. Thanks for bringing up the topic because it helped me realize what and how I am learning. Paul To your abundance! |
