Hi Everyone:
Could I have some feedback?
I’m on LL14, working away and enjoying the PG process.

I made a CMI for this month about creating money as I’m in the process of getting my new business live. And this should take about another month. I have not been earning much while developing the new business, about 6 months now.

So, some great things have come to me since I have been CMIing. I got a partnership offer from a supplier, that is great (I’m very grateful about how easy it was) and the bucks won’t roll in for a few months. And still it is a fab. Opportunity!

This week I got two invites to quote on work. I have been marketing/creative director guy for years. I’ve turned my hand to Adwords these past two years and I’ve been really good at it. I avoid taking on much marketing work now.

The first meeting, the guy spent a lot of time telling me (in a joke way of course) how little he is willing to pay for my services. I’m feeling like a bucket of cold water has been dropped on my head. I can help this guy and his business so much and I would like the money too.

The second business tells me that are not really interested in my Adword services, as they said they were, they just want to get at the competitors who have been buying ads on there keywords. So they want to know how to do this?

In a nut shell, I’m very busy with two businesses that are not yet earning any money. I’ve had two freelance jobs offered that will take me away from what I want to do AND they will pay the bills.

Any suggestions or feedback would be very appreciated.
Best wishes
Chris

Hi Chris

Two great questions you can ask about your situation is:

What is so great about my current situation?

How to make the best use of my current situation?

When we get stuck on any situation, it often means we are stuck in competitive mind: looking at the supply as limited. What you notice about any situation you are in is important because your thoughts will follow what you observe. Notice good things and more will follow. Notice the lack and again your thoughts follow it, and more lack follows. It's the law of attraction at work 24/7, no exceptions.Hence the value of the first question "What's so great about my current situation?"

In the second question, "How can I best use of current situation?", just play around with possibilites, see which ones feel right to you. But you have to be in creative mind to play! otherwise it only feels like work!(Thanks Rebecca, it's something I learnt from your post about work/business Wink)

Good luck!

Blessings
Kevin

Hello Super Happy!

I am very happy you got some benefit from the posting.

If it is fear that is blocking you look to ways to rid yourself of the fear so you can do what Wattles says and not be hampered by anything else.

Look forward to hearing of your successes.

Thanks Jim888:
I have been using your post and getting closer to the truth about this blip. What I have learned is that when I get frightened, I resort back to what is familiar. I couldn't see "the how" and I panicked.

great questions Jim and I'll keep using them!
with gratitude Chris

Hi

Well, a more specific question would help.

Why not ask yourself, how did I attract these time wasters?

Ask, why do I still keep them around?

Why did I let myself be treated such as that and not politely get up say bye and go attract the people who would value my services.

How did I attract such competitive minded people and not companies wishing to create a service and product in line with SOGR thinking?

Goodness, am I still thinking and acting like these companies that take my time and pay nothing and do not realize it!

How do I attract more of the paying freelance stuff???

Hope this is a start.

Jim

Greetings Chris,

Wally says that the only place we can act is NOW! So, if I am understanding you correctly, you want to know how to move from the job you are not really fond of to one you enjoy more. You now have the new jobs lined up but do not see any $$ coming in from the new jobs until later.

I my oppinion, quitting the job that gives you $$ will only put you into a financial tailspin, and you will be concerned about your finances(looking at lack). That is where your thinking will go and of course, you will manifest more of that.

Wally says that your good may come from your present work for some time to come. Perhaps if you frind things to appreciate about where you are now, your life will be easier and more fun until you can move into the other jobs that you want.

I wish you well, I want you to have a job or calling that makes you happy. Until that happens, just get happy and the new job will come faster.

Diane

Hi Rebecca:
I have created a CMI about earning funds this month, and I'm creating things I thought I was moving away from and yet that is what has appeared this month.
So exactly what I would like feedback on is this:
How can I create more money now without having to gob back to the kinds of work that I find challenging and stressful?
Thanks
Chris

Hi Sandra:
Yeah, I'd like more feedback here too.

It would be great to chat.

I think what I am discovering today is that I have tried to put a "how" on my CMI for this month. And because I am wanting money to come, I resort to my old skill set cause that is "how" I think money can only arrive. And now the 2 latest possibilities have been focusing on my old skill set and all the reasons I stopped working in that world have come waltzing towards. So I have realized my CMI is working I new have to change it.

I'll send you a personal message about a chat time.

best wishes
Chris

Hi Chris,
I just wonder ..I also live in the UK
How about having a phone chat or skype call sometime?
It is great that your new business is going so well. I have a similar quandary about the work.. that I am trained in and have done for years, no longer is so exciting to me.
Have you looked at the One Command book that Rebecca is recommending? I have ordered it and just mention it from intuition.
Anyway, hope you get lots more feedback.

Take care,

Sandra

Thanks RAB. I know that this is not the most articulate post. I just wanted to put it out on the forum and see if I can get an insite

I think you are right. My CMI is a bit too vague and this potential work feels a bit like I am going backwards. And that is an indicator that I'm not clear enough.

Thankyou
Chris

Hi
Check what you are asking for, you may be getting what you are asking for. IE I want to be busy instead of I want to generate $$ form addwords.

I hope this helps.
