Hi Kazzie,

The two old dealers that moved are making way for two newer ones that fit better.

I believe Wattles mentioned as we shift and change this will move people in and also out of our life.

They will find a spot that is good for them and you will have a few more dealers move in who match your new way of thinking and being.

It is moving according to the good things you sent into formless.

Update (to any that may still be interested):

The previous owners have decided to auction off all of their remaining inventory. A group of us have been helping them pack since last Wednesday. In a day or two more, it will be done. This leaves my mall approximately half empty. Is that a bad thing? Of course not! It is making room for me to make some long needed changes and get new dealers with new merchandise into my mall. This is a very confusing, but very exciting time.

A friend who sometimes helps me at the mall asked me a question a few days ago. She said "Do you lay awake at nights worrying about how this is all going to turn out? Aren't you scared of what is going to happen?" I just laughed. Thanks to SOGR, I could honestly answer "No, I don't worry at all. Things are going along exactly as they are supposed to be."

I'm working VERY hard, but having the time of my life. It really is FUN! I wish everyone could experience this.

Abundance to all,
Kaz

Hello, Kazzie....I am a fairly new member and have to tell you that your story is very inspiring...I just read the entire string at one time, and although I know the certain way and SOGR work wonders, it just warms my heart to "hear" about it in action for a regular "gal" like myself...thank you, so much, for your beautiful account of your experience of SOGR and the certain way.

Thanks, Charlotte!

Helen, I keep posting to this thread because it inspires me and reminds me of where I was when I began, so that I can readily see how far I've come.

I also post progress reports because I think that it might help those who are new to this and have doubts. My progress isn't fast, but it is surely happening at exactly the correct pace for me to deal with it. I may not be rich in money yet, but Im rich in experience and positive energy. I'm 100% sure the wealth will come when I'm ready for it.

A little tip, Kazzie. It'll come when you LET it, when your resistance is gone. You might want to let go of statements like, "I may not be rich in money yet." Wink When you say that you are focusing on the lack of money rather than on the abundance of it.

From what I've been told, the business does quite well, but the owner is an older man with health problems. He just can't handle running the business anymore. It is an antique mall located in a really neat old stone building that was built in 1869. It's located in our town's historic downtown district, that is currently beginning to have a rebirth.

I went down there yesterday (I have been a customer there since it opened). The owner wasn't working that day, so I just took a stroll around looking at the inside (bought a really neat antique piece while I was there too). I called and talked to the realtor, and she is going to set up an appointment with the owner next week.

Back to my original question.....how do I know it's right? Initally I was very excited about it. After alot of negative feedback from a family member, I began to doubt myself. Now I'm in a state of confusion.

Advice please?

Hi Kazzie,

When you told family members of your idea did any of them have any experience of running an antique business or of running any type of business? If not, they may not be the best people to advise you. Often, family members mean well, they want to protect you, but that does not make them the best people to advise you. Why not try talking to someone experienced , like an accountant that has other antique dealers as clients. One other thing, if other people can dampen your fire, how strong was that fire?

The top post is the original, the one that starts the conversation. Then, as others chime in, their messages are added below the original with the most recent at the top. (That's a little "perk" for frequent visitors and posters. They don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom or click onto other pages to catch up on the discussion.) Wink

Good advice, Rebecca.

I really don't focus on lack of money. In fact, I have what I need to live and pay my bills. "Rich" to me means independently wealthy.....having a Lear Jet, etc. I'm not there yet, but on my way!

I guess I need to lose the "talk", if you know what I mean. I'll try harder.

Ah, words!

You know what I'm going to say to THIS statement above, don't you?

Don't try harder. Just RELAX into it and let it be easy! Big Grin

LOL Rebecca!
You got me fair and square!

I just had an "AHA!" moment. The reason I make those comments is because I want to be accepted by my family......you know, the same people that didn't want me to buy a business?

I personally have never had any problems with being wealthy, but my family "looks down" on wealthy people, and I try to please them. (They have always thought I was a little "out there".)

This may be the revelation that finally gets me over the hump, so to speak! I have to give this some serious thought and go back to one of the early life labs.

Thanks!

It is amazing how some things can just resonate with you sometimes - almost like out of the clear blue sky.

I have been reading this thread with great enjoyment for the last several months. Kazzie's comment about her aha moment just reinforces how important it is to watch what thoughts we allow in (or allow to reside).

Thanks for mentioning this!

Last night I went back and reviewed LL2. I have never had negative feelings about wealth. It just doesn't make intellectual sense to me. BUT I was raised with members of my family who feel this way. It must be buried deeply in my subconscious. It shows up in some things I say, usually as jokes.

Good point about the jokes Kazzie! I catch myself on this as well. Up 'til now sarcasm has been an active part of my vocabulary. I have learned from SOGR, the Practical Geniuses Course and the forums that negative humor is just that - negative.

It is my choice as to what thoughts I allow to reside in my mind. As I get better at all of this I find myself replacing these sarcastic thoughts / comments with gratitude! It is still a work in progress but I am moving in the right direction and surprise myself all the time.
