I haven't read Stuart Lichtman's ebook and at $160 (Aussis dollars), I probably won't be reading it any time soon so forgive me if my question sounds ignorant.
After listening to Rebecca's interview with Stuart I felt that the examples he gave were very much the techniques used in NLP. If I understood correctly he guided a reporter to replace an early memory (negative) with a new version of the memory (positive); a kind of response exchange. Did I understand this? In that case, it is nothing new - it's a well known technique used in NLP. Please tell me if I'm off track here. Also, if Rebecca has managed to 'become rich' using Wally's advice, why then is another theory, technique, process... necessary? Can we not get the results we want with Wally's book alone? But my main point is that I'm not sure that there is anything in Stuart's book that hasn't been tried before or that isn't already known. Please set me straight if I'm wrong here. Thanks. Hi Marilyn:
I have purchased the course for about $120 canadian. Its got a 60 day money back guarantee so if I don't like it I can get my money back. With regards to your question on NLP I was e-mailed a bunch of FAQ's that people ask about the course and this is what he said about NLP: "What can I compare your techniques to? Can it be compared to NLP? What makes it different from everything else out there? Cybernetic Transposition is what I would call an "organic" method, because it is based on the way people are naturally successful at accomplishing things. What makes it different - and unique, as far as I have been able to determine - is that Cybernetic Transposition is the only technique that allows you to confidently and permanently "peel off" any and all disempowering, negative beliefs you may have picked up on your journey through life. Cybernetic Transposition goes far beyond NLP and hypnosis because with Cybernetic Transposition, you have a single set of techniques that reliably translates every goal you have into the basic, easy-to-understand "language" of each part of the brain, respectively. That alone GREATLY increases the odds of success in your favor. Another unique thing about Cybernetic Transposition is it allows you to build upon any success in one area of your life, and apply it to create success in any other area of your life that you select. What other achievement method empowers you to do that? And a final difference is that Cybernetic Transposition empowers you to take charge of your life and make it what you really want. NLP, hypnotherapy and similar techniques make you dependent because they are designed to be used on you by a therapist." Unfortunately I can't set you straight because your questions make good sense and I had the exact same feeling as you do. The only reason why I'm looking at the course is because Rebecca has brought it into the SOGR forum. Sorry I can't be of any more help. Hopefully Rebecca or someone else will be able to give you some good info. Take care Paul |

Thankyou Paul, I'd also be interested to hear how you go with Stuart's book and if you get speeedy results using his technique. I'm all for using a technique that you can use all on it's own.
Hopefully we'll hear more from Rebecca on the subject particularly in regard to the questions I've posed. If the results are so fast, wouldn't everyone naturally assume it is a much better method than reading Wally's book and perhaps even faster than doing this course? (No insult intended there, just thinking 'our loud'). Thanks again Paul for your speedy reply Always riching Marilyn |

Stuart L & Rebecca F act as guides in our attempt to understand the power of the universe. There are many others that I have used on my journey. Individually they can show us a little of the power, however on their own they are unable to reveal it all. It is too big and too complex.
Stuart's book and system works for some, just like Rebecca's (and WW SOGR) works for others. Don't rely on one individual system to do it all for you, because they wont. Be open to new ways and welcome a new guide as they are introduced to you. The price of the book is not a cost, it is an investment. Not all investments work, get used to it. Every guide tells us : in order for us to make it work, WE have to apply it. The magic works if WE turn it on. Dont sit back and wait for the universe to send you riches. It wont, however if you work the systems and processes the power of the universe will fall in behind and send them to you. |

Hello all
I stumbled accross a copy of Stuarts book a few months ago, and found that it complimented SOGR quite well as it seems on a similar track, it did however, really help me with setting targets, something I have had - up till now - so much trouble with. I think once you have learnt the SOGR principles and can apply them to your life then it is good to be open minded about other ways to re-inforce what you are doing, sometimes a little different way of explaining something can really make the penny drop. Cheers Denise |

quote: It's not a matter of right or wrong, really. Marilyn. The only problem here is you're attempting to evaluate something you haven't read and USED and that's not possible. As for whether or not something is "necessary," well, no it's not. But as I said in the article, Stuart is a modern scientist whose modern work sheds truly helpful new light on what Wally wrote. It complements it. I used to write on a typewriter and that worked fine. But when PCs came along in the early 80s I was one of the first to jump on board. Did I NEED a computer? No. Did I love the way it enhanced what I was already doing? You bet! Many blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |

I couldn't hear Stuarts interview with Rebecca because it could only be played in 'Realplayer' and Realplayer upsets my computor I only have
windows media player! It sounded interesting all the same! I wonder if Rebecca will answer the great question Maralyn asked about how we are told we don't need ANY other book etc from Wally then we have conflicting guidence. I also believed that information can be learnt from many different sources until I read The Science of Getting Rich which advises us NOT to look any further? GREAT question Maralyn, I can't wait to see what Rebecca has to say on this??? Katie |

quote: Thanks Rebecca, Yes I understand that we can utilise other methods along the way to our goal if they are in sinc with what we're learning. I borrowed the money needed to download the book and after reading it, I can now say that I feel it is very much using the methods of NLP. A much earlier post by me on this forum mentions the use of re-writing your memories. It was a method I used to help me with some of the earlier lifelabs. However, I find there is one very pressing question I have regarding the very beginning of the process presented by Stuart. It deals with creating the metastory. Is there anyone who would be willing to discuss this aspect with me, (off line obviously as this is not a forum for Lichtman's book). I feel I'm having a general comprehension block Does anyone know if Stuart has a forum for questions? Always riching Marilyn |

quote: Actually, it's available as MP3s, too. So you could download a free MP3 player if you don't have a stand-alone one and listen to those. There are links to free MP3 players in the Toolbox section of our course site. quote: I already answered that! Just as there is new science in terms of quantum physics and even gratitude research and more (some of which we've talked about in this course), we now know a LOT more about how our minds work. (Well, WE don't necessarily, but some scientists do!) I actually spend a LOT of time and money checking out other people's work, new ideas, and so on, to see if they're in harmony and if they bring anything new to SOGR. Most of that you never hear about from me because, usually, there's nothing really new -- which is not to say that work isn't valuable. It often is, because it can be immensely helpful to hear old ideas framed in new ways. For me, this was different -- and as I said, for me it's a wonderful complement, clarifier and companion to SOGR. For others, it may not be as powerful, simply because we all respond differently to different "voices." We can "hear" some people and not others. And that's OK. Many blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |
