I love the idea of imagining a world without lack. When I was a teenager, I used to study utopian literature. I also studied distopias -- turns out there are far more of them.

Utopias could be a great tool for creating a world CMI. I haven't read any for a long time, but the movie Avatar comes to mind. The culture in that movie was based on connectedness and the abundance of nature. Also gratitude.

A new study of only utopian literature and philosophy would be a fun project for some graduate student -- or for me.

In fact there was a non-fiction book that someone lent me a few years ago. I think it was called "How To Colonize the Galaxy in Seven Easy Steps." I remember being struck by the extraordinary vision of the author (who's name escapes me.) He actually had a fairly plausible plan for colonizing the galaxy. Of course it depended on certain new technologies being developed, but he had no doubt that these things were possible. In fact, he wrote that a device would be invented which could transform any raw material into any product through rearranging the atomic structure. That's "creating something out of formless substance" big time!

Anyone else have a really good start on a world CMI?

Hmmmm----;

How about get rich and teach others how to get rich too?

My nephew Michael Strong wrote a book titled "Be The Solution", subtitled "How Entrepreneurs and Conscious Capitalists Can Solve All the World's Problems". Basically sugests that we get rich and teach others how to get rich too! His book has a forward and a chapter by John Mackey who is the founder and CEO of Whole Foods Market; who happens to have started out in Texas.

BTW, my long term CMI is to be a Student and a Teacher for the rest of my life! My subjects are Peace, Health and Prosperity! Interestingly all three of them require a great attitude in order for success!

This also takes care of the Charity situation in your other post!

Be good to yourself, live life passionately and always, always expect success!! I don't know how long I will live, but I'll live until I die!!

Does it count if you get on the forum and just read and learn from what everyone else shares? cause that's mostly all I find myself doing.

Hey, Dallas!

I think it's great to do whatever you want.

Personally, I like being the center of attention, plus I think I know everything, so I enjoy posting a lot.

Sure you can just read and learn if that's fun for you. But don't think that what goes on in your life isn't worth sharing. We all enjoy hearing how SOGR is working out for everyone. You never know how something you share could help someone else.

Hope to hear from you at least a little!

Love
Rachel
