This subject has been on my mind for a while now. Let's discuss this and find out what are your thought about it.
Remember the movie "A Beautiful Mind" A genius John Forbes Nash economist and math genius received the Nobel price in 1994. The discussion: To be so much involved in a project, any project, creating an environement springing for the inner world of the mind, unconscious, to the point where it become more real then life. Where everything is painted overshadowing the conscious mind to the point we believe not the reality but the fiction to be real.Did John Nash's state of schizophrenia was created by his imaginery "friends" to begin with and tehn turned into a psychological situation. Or was schizophrenia part of his life before he started his research? Where is my concern? in the past 6 month twice I have experienced such a "state of mind" one was when I was looking at yachts at the show. After talking with a salesman walking away from the boat I had the feeling I just order this baot and madea down payment. It took a few hours to convince myself that it could not happen since I didn't have a credit card or check book with me. How deep can one goes into a cmi and get to the point where reality completely dissapear, like actually living a the dream house and everythingin the actual house changes but only innward and not yet outward. The challenge is not to create a CMI but to have it completely take over. Similar to a powerful dream when waking up a time is needed to get back to reallity and sometime it takes a day or two. My experience with this is that "waking up" from such an trip can be very devastating. The desire is so strong that it takes over, but the material concrete parts does not appear. This can be confusing. Any suggestion, feedback, I know there is some very smart people out there. The hardest part I have noticed is that I tend to attach to easily to our old beliefs of what we should be. Part of the science is reprogramming your mind to believe that what is within, can be outside. The idea held with determination aligns the rest of your mind to seek out the physical objects necessary to obtain your goal, as well as align the universe to provide the means. When you began telling yourself that it could not be done you in effect made sure the programing of your mind stayed within the bounds set earlier. So what happened was you began looking for the boat not to be there, instead of looking for the Yacht to be there and you sitting in the captains chair enjoying the waters moving in still motion. The attachment is what removes the dream, Not the dream. It is the attachment dreams that makes them real, and we so get caught up in our old attachments that we usually have the means right smack dab in our face to gain, live the new dream reality, and we do not reach out to possess until time has unaligned it from us. Then we pine about what was, forgetting to think about what we learned and how beautiful it will be to feel the moment when our dream is held in the dream and reality as one. They way were are supposed to feel in the future, is now. Since attachment is our state of being, then attach to something in your mind state that you want in this world. Or attach to detachment or empty mind to see the whole of world, and all of her beauty. Thank you for your post by answering your question it made me think about a dilemma of my own. Sometimes moving forward is the scariest feeling of all and most detrimental emotion. In the split between I want, I believe and the other thought, the psychosis is created. Morpheusmirror Reggie |

Or maybe there's no line at all, they're not side by side but two entirely different things, and a person can be both a genius and "mad" or not bright at all and "mad." Love & blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |

Also there is a fine line between genius and madness! - as illustrated by John Nash and others throughout history.
Some of the most incredibly inspired and creative artists, authors, inventors etc are or have been what is politely termed "eccentric". I think it is down to the fact that they are naturally such incredibly imaginative and passionate souls that they see things in their minds eye more clearly and feel things more deeply. Hmm - visualisation with strong feelings associated with it - that sounds like the Law of Attraction. No wonder they are so good at creating things... Choose Success. Hi Farmen
Great point you are making I took note. I do agree that disturbed mind are not consciously aware of what's real and what's not. Thus the outcome.Sometime we have to look outside for answers to our own search. As in the story. Help came from outside of him and heaccepted the fact that what he believed to be real was not. He then was able to function. In the other hand isn't exactly what we are working toward a CMI so strong that we totally with no restrictions "beleive" to be real? I think the line between sanity and insanity is very thin... BT Bernard Be a leader with a servant's heart www.morelife4all.com Expect the best and the best will come forward |

Hi Studmuffin!
I´m glad you posted this item. It gave me a new point of view to a problem similar to yours. I find myself sometimes soaked up in my cmi, and can be totally happy for a day or two. Then some kind of doubt comes over me. I get afraid that it´s all just a dreamworld. That I am vasting time and opportunities in an illusion. So I get very down for a shorter period. It really confused me until I read your post. Thinking about it, I think it´s a phase. The more time a spend on the forum and with the course, the more certain I get. So the happy periods become longer and the downtime shorter. I read somewhere on this forum that "Conscious action is the Certain Way". Schizophrenia is more the opposite to consciousness, don´t you think? Mad people are not aware that they are mad. So as long as you can wonder if you´re mad, you´re not! My advice to my self, and to you, is to be observant and conscious, and spend much time increasing faith in this process. Annelie *Imagination is everything. Hey Sandu. Thank you for your friendship.
I see your point clearly. I was raising this questions, I have witnessed good friends of mine going completely into never never land with this. For some reason they lost their balance somewhere along the journey and ended up in Psych clinic for treatment. Although they are good friends, off course I don't know what was going on in their mind. Two of my good freinds had great visons and dreams somehow became possesed by it and lost everything jobd family most of their relatives walked away and most of their friend also. No drugs, no alchool involved. The movie "A beautiful mind" gave me a glimpse of what could have happen to my friends. I do believe that personal choice can cause upward or downward results. I have learned long ti,e ago reading Carl Yung we have two choice. The eroic way or the casualty way. Everything else is side line. Thank you for your input. Justlove the discussion. I apprecite you. Take care BT Bernard Be a leader with a servant's heart www.morelife4all.com Expect the best and the best will come forward |

Greetings Mon Ami Bernard,
-Personal, I don't think is dangerous, the way I see it is speeding up the SOGR manifestation! -All this new book & CD "Money and Law of Attraction" by Esther & Jerry Hicks (Abraham) discuss this topic in great details; just start with happy feelings & thinking of what do you realy want and like at the core of YOU! -I love it too and frequently remember "A Beautiful Mind" movie -Neville (Goddard) and all classic authors of prosperity books suggest to start from the end, with strong happy feelings of CMI "deja vu" accomplished, because our mind works with images and by repetition & by intensity of feelings / emotions we strongly impregnate the sub-conscious mind who really manifest our outside reality for us. But we need to start it right inside first ... -my suggestion is to start the process and don't be too attached to the outcome: it might manifest with a slighty twist, on divine agenda, not exactly what you initially wanted, but much better, be prepared to be delighted, be a paranoic in reverse: suspect all the world (at least all West Coast) is plotting to make you happy Bernard! ...
