I'm working with LL12, and have found that half of my heros have "humility" or humbleness, as one of their qualities, while the other half have what I have called "cheeky arrogance" (a kind of boyish self-belief, or playful self-confidence) as one of their qualities . These appear to contradict each other as qualities that should resonate with me, so I'm a bit stuck on what to make of it.
Any suggestions?

Well, David G, do you consider that your "humble heroes" do/did not have self-belief or self-confidence? I'm guessing they do/did, but maybe not boyishly or playfully.

Certainly they (those who showed humility) had self-belief, and this carried them to greatness. But that they didn't show it (self-belief) outwardly when compared to others who were equally successful is puzzling.
Perhaps it is this "small self" ego-thing, where some need to speak up their self belief whereas others just got on with the job at hand, filling more than their place?
Interestingly for me and LL12, I think both aspects are equally apparent as resonating with me. I have a strong belief in who I am and what I achieve, so perhaps sometimes I will fill more than my place quietly, and at other times I will allow a little of the boyish-arrogance to shine through!

What I have discovered is that the common thread is the self-belief these heroes had, and this brief exchange has helped me clarify that. Thank you Verti.
