I have a little confusioin over this and how to apply this to my business. You see, my business is based on bidding for rights that other companies are also bidding and then selling them on. It is competitive but I understand what Mr Wattles is saying - I just don't know how to apply this to my circumstances to make my business more successfull. Any help would be very much appreciated
Much love xx I am expecting success |

OK, I'm no expert, but here's my thought.
The idea is to do your job without feeling that others must lose what they want in order for you to get what you want. Likewise, you can get what you want without preventing others from getting what they want. That's assuming that "getting the bid" is not the ultimate goal. The ultimate goal is likely making money, paying bills, going on vacation, something like that, right? So no single bid can prevent that, right? Try this: Each time you make a bid, believe that you will only get the bid if it is going to get you closer to what you ultimately want. If you don't get it, it's only because there is something better waiting for you. If someone else has a success, be happy for them. You're success doesn't depend on their failure. That's all I got. Hope it helps. Love and Blessings, Rachel |

We have just missed out on a bid and I am happy to say that this is excatly what I did. I have calmed down my business partner and said there is still plenty of business out there and detached myself emotionally from this bid now. I have just put in a bid for a couple of other things today and I am really hoping that it delivers and we win, I am visualising, being grateful throughout the day, spending my leisure hours contemplating my picture and putting myself in that palce to recieve. I will update you xx

Today I was at a flea market selling off old belongings and introducing a new line of jewelry, that I am designing and manufacturing, when I had a creative vs competitive moment.
The area that the flea market was in was mostly an Hispanic area and I am not hispanic. The woman that was in the space next to where I was is hispanic, however. She was selling her jewelry for $.50 a piece. She had bags of it so it must have been ordered in bulk or from a store closing, etc. My Jewelry was going for $1.00 and up. Also, today was the first time that I tried to offer this kind of jewelry and I did not have a clue of how to market it until about the end of the day. Of course, I was beginning to have some competitive feelings. I finally went over to her table and asked her how much a red ring that she was selling cost. I have just started wearing read beads. I usually wear clear or blue. She was curt with me and even a little rude in the way she asked who is asking about the ring and then ignored me when I said that I was. Finally she answered with the price. I complimented her on the jewelry and congratulated her, within myself, on her success. (However, at $.50 a piece and so few customers today, I am not sure how successful she actually was.) After congratulating her and focussing my mind on other things like, getting lunch and talking to my flea mareket companions, business slowed to a stop for her and she had to leave early. I, however, made another sale of other items and people actually started asking about my jewelry, I made a slam dunk deal on a box of vintage jewelry that I can clean and sell as restrung, and a man I had never met before told me that he had beads that he used to make flowers with 20 years ago sitting in bags and would like to sell them to me. Funny that should happen because when I was taking the old clothes etc. out of storage this morning to sell at the flea market today I asked myself, almost despondently, what should I sell and my old jewelry cleaning kit flew out at me and fell on the ground next to my feet. Could this be the laws of attraction working? Glad I remembered to shift my attention to faith and the creative and attraction energies could start again. Thank you God. Thank you all that is good. -- Many blessings, and, of course — EXPECT Success! Carol P.S.
