Purpose was a word that made me ask myself a lot because I couldn't always get a precise image of its meaning in certain sentences from the SOGR book.
Now it is clearer in many ways, however it stays somewhat mysterious to me :-)!
My question was what kind of feeling or state of the mind would I have to occupy when contemplating my clear mental vision or picture, it would be nice to meet Mr. Wattles and sense the state from him, that would be a more accurate understanding for I believe it is not an intellectual understanding at all it is more of an inner experience...

Another discovery for me were these sentences in the book:
"YOU MUST GET RID OF THE LAST VESTIGE OF THE OLD IDEA THAT THERE IS A DEITY WHOSE WILL IT IS THAT YOU SHOULD BE POOR OR WHOSE PURPOSES MAY BE SERVED BY KEEPING YOU IN POVERTY"

As a child I got to hear a lot about the "evil rich" and the "good poor" people and that one should fear being rich for it is not always good for them and they might go to hell for that...
I am sure there are many of you here who had at a time ot other in their life heard of something like that...

I was glad months ago to read these sentences, they were a confirmation of my belief change over the years about that erroneous idea.

God or the Universe wants everyone to be rich and wealthy because we already are through our connection to the SOURCE and because we are in the image of the SOURCE!

Exactly! It's very much a feeling. What feeling would being rich (wealthy, prosperous, etc) give you? When I think of it it gives me a feeling of freedom, relief, expansiveness, infinite possibility.... I seem to breathe more deeply and smile. So I'm finding that feeling and holding it when I visualize what I'm wanting - and that allows the energy to flow unobstructed to the vision. And feeling good as much as possible lets it in, puts you in the place of receiving. Thanking the Universe in advance really works for me too!
