This week was my expereince with the Media Fast and what I discovered was how many ideas came floating in while I wasn't listening to the world falling apart. The truth is I have never been much of a tv news or newspaper fan for the exact reason I believe we do this fast, there is just too much negativity and sensationalism. However, I stopped watching the History channel and other educational media that was just as full of mureder and mayhem. During the week I spent time reading and playing games...and it was refreshing.

I think I understand what you mean. I too found the whole media-fast issue an enlightening experience.
It certainly helped me make more time to continue my SOGR reading, and advancing in a certain way!
