Hello all, I signed on to SOGR for Pg's about 3 months ago. I am having a hard time commiting to this for some reason. Wattles Words have been echoing in my head "How you do one thing is how you do everything." I think back in my life to all my projects I have started and never finished. A beef Jerky business that I spent 4,000 on and is sitting there in my garage, collecting dust, a grant proposal and business plan I started writing but never finished, the roof on my house, there are still shingles on the roof from installing new roofing a year ago that my neighbor asked me to remove so the wind wouldn't blow them into the windows. A college degree I can't seem to finish. A diamond engagement ring that I bought 6 months ago, but haven't decided how I'm going to ask. I have so many loose ends and unfinished things in my life, the list goes on and on. Is my life destined to be a string of unfinished commitments? What if I do this program from start to finish, and realize that in order for me to give my gift to the world that I have to move, or worse yet, what if I have to move, and my girlfriend and I separate? Will this really work for me? Is there anyone that has finished this course, and is still her to give me advice or maybe mentor me? I am at a point in my life, where I feel dissatisfied with were I am at, I get really frustrated too some days, so my girlfriend suggesting counseling. The counselor said I am having a crisis and am burntout. I asked her to tell me something I didn't know. She didn't think that was funny and asked to see me twice a month. Or was it every other week? I do realize that I am living, feeling this way because of my choices, but I am lost to what I should do next. Well I have the weekend off, the first one off since Memorial day, and I am going to relax with my beautiful, and wonderful girlfriend. Have a great weekend! I'm going to try to dive in this thing tommorrow because it is 1:30 in the morning and this site was calling me all week and I've finally posted something! Yayy! Hi Cowboy, You have started the PG Course about 3 months ago and wrote about the challenges you face. This itself shows that you have recognized the situation and desire to improve upon. That is a good begining. So far many times you completed the things half way thru. Now it is time to complete the things. Pl. forgive yourself if you find struggling. Do not punish yourself. And continue with the PG Course. Be grateful that you got so many opportunities. There are so many people who would be able to help on this forum. So do not feel lonely. Universe is there with you. Receive Abundance. Ganesh Bhide

I'm a bit new to the coures, but would still like to offer a suggestion... try thinking "up til now, I've had a lot of things left unfinished." I notice you are judging yourself for them... what about another possibility -- maybe your deepest self knew that something about that particular project just wasn't quite right... maybe it didn't come from your CMI, but from a place of lack... keep returning to your CMI, see the 'finishline' - your CMI, and don't worry about the rest of the unfinished stuff - it could be 'meant to be unfinished'. good luck

Hi Cowboy, Just a thought or two, here.... I saw a whole lot of "shoulds" in your post but hardly any passions. You listed "projects" never finished and I saw indictments of yourself and you titled your post "Fear around this thing..." Gosh, friend, be kinder to yourself! If you weren't full of talent and quite creative, you would Not have all of these projects, whether finished or unfinished. Give yourself some credit, here But, its like you've wanted to go on all of these journeys but have always begun without a clear sense of where you want to go. I get this picture of a small dingy being tossed about by the waves of life. Yet, you've forgotten that you DO have oars or paddles and really can direct where you want to go. It also appears that you're choosing to "live" where you can never really be....the past and the future. What do you want or choose to be, do or have NOW? M. Scott Peck said in his bestseller, "The Road Less Traveled," that we really should celebrate intense confusion, burn-out, etc. because it means we are only a step away from having a real breakthrough. His thought was that we can't move forward until we are in so much pain from harmful thoughts, behaviors, etc. that we MUST choose differently. So, rather than continued focus on what you don't want, don't like, etc., can you allow yourself to focus on what you DO want to be, do or have in your life? Just because you haven't been able to do this "up till now," can you give yourself permission to do it NOW? I guess the bottom line for me, is that I see you poised to really move forward. Wow, that's cause for celebration! Even with all of your perceived "failures," you're still here, right? So you'll still be here when you allow yourself successes! How would that "feel?" We'll all be waiting to hear YOUR success stories! Namaste, Linda

Yo, Cowboy! You are a man on the verge. Read your own letter over and you'll hear it: This guy is about to bust through. If he just keeps doing what he's doing. And another thing: You remind me of some guy I see in the mirror every morning. My advice to you, friend, and to me, is, maybe for the first time in our lives, let's not give in to the compelling urge to DO something-- anything! That is all wrapped up in HOW . HOW is the domain of the Universe, yes? What if you, and I, instead of diving into action, hold back and think, visualize, let the Universe drive the car, do the work, while we dig the scenery and prepare ourselves to arrive where we truly want to be? If we do the above, methinks two things will happen: We will get what we most want. And there's no way we can ever imagine ever predict HOW it will come to us. One other thing: I'm beyond grateful for this forum. I have never heard so much creativity, so much introspective insight-filled honesty. And it's coming from people all over the world. What a Universe!

Well, I'm going to be blunt. What do you want? Because it sounds to me that you are just undecided. Do you want to be married or not? Is she the right one or not? Do you want to be in the beef jerky business or not? You simply need to make a choice one way or the other and act on it (whether by thought or physical action), because nothing is going to change or get done just looking at it. The universe can't help you out, if you don't know what you want. You have to make choices and get clear on what you want, be grateful, have faith that it's on the way and get ready to receive it. Please know that this is a friendly kick in the pants. I learned to take a step, even if it wasn't the necessarily the right one. Because even when it was the wrong one I learned something, and I was able to determine if I liked something or not and then I could make a choice. So, Cowboy... Hi Cowboy, What a great name! Of course I live in Phoenix, Arizona, USA so this is cowboy country! In the past I also was challenged by failure to complete but this is no longer true for me. In fact the last few years this has been my primary focus-- to complete what I begin. My current teacher in this endeavor is a fixer upper home I moved into and have been renovating. It's been a huge job and I've had lots of completions along the way. Because of this I've seen a pattern emerge. Each time I start a new room I'm really excited and energetic. Then as I move into the project I begin getting a little tired but that's mostly because I can see the completed project in my mind but I'm standing in a pile of dust and it seems so far away. When those thoughts arise I dismiss them and focus on the work at hand, doing a little at a time and enjoying seeing the project come together. Just before I finish I get to that part where I get to take care of all the little details, not my favorite, but necessary to realize my vision. Then when the room is complete I feel an immense sense of joy and pride. It feels great and part of that great feeling is to know that I did what it took to make this dream a reality. This adds to my personal power. When people walk into my house they comment on how peaceful it feels. They love its uniqueness both inside and out. I've planted gardens, trees, and flower beds that bloom all year round. Inside it's warm and comfortable and beautiful. I have both purchased and been gifted incredible artwork some of which has hung in museums. It's like, wow, I did this and it feels great. One of the best feelings, however, is that I now know that I can complete anything I begin. I also know that I'm not doing it alone. I'm doing it with the help of the entire universe. People show up to help, stuff shows up out of the blue, and my neighbors love what I've done. I've taken a home that was dead and ugly, saw the possibilities, took action, and am reaping the rewards. My suggestion to you would be to imagine how it would feel to complete what you have started. Sit quietly and see how it feels to complete them and then begin completing the one that feels the best. Imagine how you'll feel when it is complete and focus on this as you take care of your daily business. Finishing feels so great. You'll love it! Cowboy up! Bob Bloom Bob Bloom

Hi cowboy, Up til now, I would ask myself why should I reply I doubt if I can make a difference. Well here is my two cents and I hope it makes a difference. I would ask how does all the things that you haven't gotten finished yet fit in with your CMI. If they are a part of your CMI you may want to take some action if it is backed by the certain way of thinking. And if those projects are part of your CMI then you may want to get rid of all reminders of them so you aren't as easily swayed back into some up til now thinking. As another person said they saw a lot of shoulds in your posts. Did you start a lot of those projects because you thought you should? May you have many future successes Tim
