This is my first post ever, so please excuse any mistakes.

This is a question for everyone that has seen "The Matrix".

In the film, Morpheus describes having a "splinter in your mind" when describing a feeling about the true nature of the world in which we live. Before I found SOGR, I had read many books on the subjects of success and wealth. Motivational books, self-help books, spiritual books, philosophical books etc. Every one seemed to be missing something vital, but I never knew what. It felt as if I knew that everything I "knew" about the world was incorrect. That there was something more. I am 22 years old, but ever since I can remember, I have always had this feeling. Has anyone else had this feeling?

Also, I find that every time I watch "The Matrix" I discover new wisdom, and the same is definately true of reading SOGR. Anyone else found this?

Lastly, I would like to say that as well as studying this course, I find it useful to really study the SOGR text. Read it and re-read it. Think about every point, and how it relates to me personally. I have also started memorising the summary, as this is very inspirational in times of stress, even just the first line, as this re-directs my thinking from neagative to positive immediately.

DL,

I know EXACTLY how you feel! I, too, have read dozens and dozens of books on success, wealth, positive thinking, spirituality, etc. and after I read them I felt as if they have a good point, but they are missing something. I don't think that the missing "truth" is as profound as we are all just "batteries," but I do think that there is something there that is hidden from us.

I'ts kind of like the three blind men who have never seen an elephant. Each of them walks up to it and puts his hand on it and describes to to the others. One feels the trunk and says "It's long skinny, like a snake." The second feels a leg and says "it's thick and scaly, like a tree trunk." The third feels the tusk and says"It's smooth and hard - like it is made out of stone." All of them are technicaly correct, but they are only looking a pieces and not the big picture. They haven't really seen the elephant.

I have always that there is a common thread in all the books written by those who are successful and when I find that thread, the door of truth will be opened for me (and I'll have my biggest "AHA!" moment ever).

I truly belive that Wallace Wattles has found that thread because what he talks about crosses into all the areas of Science, Psychology, Spirituality, and all the others that are factors in generating wealth or being successful. It is now just a matter of changing my thinking to match his.

I am very thankful that Rebecca has seen this vision and has agreed to hold this course. It is my sincerest hope that by the time we are done, I'll have found and opened that door to the real truth.

I'm glad that someone else like the Matrix as much as I do. If you go beyond the surface story, there are many profound statements in that movie that make you think. For me, its one of those movies that "make my head hurt." The whole movie is about identifying and breaking down boundaries. We could make a whole discussion group out of that movie. (Maybe not a bad idea?)

Anyway, maybe together we all can find the truth.

To Your Success!

Absolutely! Mr. Wattles tells us to study this book and make it our constant companion until we have the principles firmly fixed in our minds.

That's what I did. I stopped counting after I'd read the book 150 times. And I printed out the summary and blew it up REALLY big and put it on my living room wall and over my desk, too, and memorized it just as you are doing.

Good advice -- from you AND our pal, Wally!

Many blessings, and, of course--
EXPECT Success!

DL,

You have hit the nail on the head with this post!

I believe that all of us have had that feeling that some where, some how, there should be more. I know that it has been a constant for me. And until now I didn't know how to articulate it.

What a Blessing to have found this group of people.

Simply, purposefully and with Mindful Abundance,
