hello everyone, trust you all had a great day. my a ha moment is interesting and a bit unsettling at the same time. i have been starting my day with a long swim,today the gate at the pool was locked. after waiting to see if the gatekeeper would show i decided , well go in , have some breakfast and swim later. as i began preparing my food i realized.mmmmmmmm.no swimming and then it hit me ..I AM JUST TREADING WATER!! i was then guided to chapter two, upon doing the reading and the exercises i realized how deeply engrained in me i prevent on many levels a higher standard of living and a greater flow of money. i aslo put out pictures of my two children and i have never been one to have photo's around me. i have a feeling of nausea and angst right now. is this an awakening so to speak as a result of this course? is this familiar to any of you who have progressed thru the lessons?

Nausia and angst are indicators that you are in unfamiliar waters. It is wise to dig deeper to find the root cause of your anxiety. It could be that you have been resisting this type of progress so long that you have stories and fears built up around it.

Try this: what could happen that would be bad? Are you afraid that this type of thinking somehow leads to danger? The pictures could be a clue. Are your fears related to your children? Dig deep and find out what you're really afraid of.

I discovered that I was afraid that making money meant sacrifices and a lot more work. That turned out not to be the case at all. On the contrary, making more money was less work, and I haven't had to sacrifice anything.

Once you've uncovered your hidden fears, you may find that they are no more logical than mine were. They will very likely lose their power then.

Meanwhile, breath. And know that no one can make you do anything that you don't want to do - including follow this course.

Thank you for your support. yes i am in unfamiliar waters and yes i have been resisting opening , becoming prosperous and yes i have fears surrounding my children. the oldest i lost in a bitter divorce to my ex. the youngest i raised my self, a single mom with low income, i have always wanted to be prosperous and provide them both with a good lifestyle. i managed to put a roof over the younger one's head and food in his belly by the grace of god, food stamps and housing. sadly i have transfered my lack consciousness to the young one, he has been in lots of trouble with the law. he and i have cried together and he said, mom it's always about the money. i cry now as i hear his words in my mind. what have i done to him and me? it really breaks my heart. growing up i heard a lot of you'll never amount to anything, so i put on my rose colored glasses and stayed in my own world. aftre doin exercise two i realized by my words , this....."i'll have to work like a dog for the rest of my life just to survive and no matter what i do i can barely make ends meet" . I am grateful i found my way to this course thanks to my great friend ancient soul.
i can grow in any direction i so choose, no one is stopping me now. i am willing to go on with this course i believe it is helping me tremendously. sharing on the forum will be a great asset and i am grateful for all the reply's.

bless your heart for your love, compassion and understanding. i do look out into the world and see all the prosperity around me. i am in awe when i go to the grocery store and see all the poeple riding around in new cars. i desire to be in the prosperity moment and feel what that is. i know with faith and belief and dilligence i will prosper. thank you so much for your kind words, they are heartfelt.
