ok folks so here i am at chapter one. i have the book and i have read it. i went thru the lessons rather swiftly and came to the realization i had to start over. so today is a brand new day and i'm an infant when it comes to fear and money. this is my clean slate then , right? i did the what i owe exercise and took a look at what's coming in and OMG how do i get out of this hole? i'm going to sleep on chapter one (literally-i sleep with my hard copy of the book!) i know i give more in use value when i do a professional reading for a client, in fact often i do them for free. i believe that is a small step in the right direction, or is it?

Depends on where you want to go. If you want to make money doing those readings, it will be a good idea to charge for them unless they're just an intro to your full service or something.

Are you enrolled in the course?

Love & blessings, and, of course--
EXPECT Success!

Dwinnemmem,

It sounds to me like you aren't sure that you deserve the riches promised in the book. That is something that I struggled with a lot at first.

One of my biggest and best revelations since starting this course happened when I realized that the universe WANTS me to have what I want -- that the divine spirit is trying to express itself through me and therefor EVERYTHING I need and want is for the expression of divine spirit. That means that I don't have to deserve, earn, or work hard for anything. Everything is naturally for me and all I have to do is know how to ask for it and how to receive it.

I was thrilled to discover that accomplishing my goals really can be fun and easy.

Also, your physical actions aren't necessarily related to the results you get. They are related to your thoughts and feelings. Weird, but true.

If any of this confuses you, don't worry. Keep reading and posting and get ready to receive all that you want!

Love and blessings,
Rachel

Hi Rachel,

you are right.... i uncovered that fact last night , i started crying, it is obvious i feel so undeserving. what is ironic is this, if i truly want a bologna sanwhich it is delivered. i got the small stuff in the groove. part of the issue also, is i don't ask for much. i am basically satified with the necessities and dont go for the brass ring. which all goes back to, like you say, i do not feel i deserve more. i thank you for sharing and i will keep posting . i have Ancient Soul by my side and she won't let me give up. She makes sure i do my homework!!! I love her!!

blessings and have a wonderful day.

Hi Rachel,
I love your contribution on the point raised by Dwinnemmem,I will like everyone on this forum to shed light on this;
Is meditation and intuition having a place on my CMI in relation to Physical actions vs Feelings in my effrots to get the desired result?
I discovered that in an attempt to hit my target there are times when doubt and discouragement sets in which apparently serves as drawback.I practice gratitude daily but I know I need help somehow.
How do I overcome this or how do I meditate or how do I know the right action to take?
I have been on this forum for a while but despite my progress since I started on this forum, I know if I could get over some of this resistances it be great for me.
Thanking everyone.

Hi everyone,

this morning i am grateful for air conditioning......and coffee, electricity, running water and the kindness of strnagers. Also i have been told by some sage friends this is an inside job. so i would definitly have to say that meditation and intution play a very important part. once you get "right" on the inside the physical world comes into alignment. right on!

Goke, I'm not sure I understand your question, so I'm just going to take a guess.

Your feelings are the most important ingredient in getting what you want. That means that feeling good is your top priority all the time. Anything that helps you to feel better than you did 5 minutes ago is an important and valuable tool for you. If meditation helps, then definitely do it.

As for inspiration.... I think that it's very easy for us to get anxious about "what to do." Some times we search so desperately for "inspired action" that we completely forget that our first responsibility is to feel good. If you don't feel good first, you will probably not get that spark of inspiration you seek.

So it goes like this
1) Feel good
2) Think about what you want (feel it in advance)
3) Be grateful for what you have
4) repeat until you receive what you asked for or feel inspired to take action.
5) do this for the rest of your life Smile

When I get inspired, I find that I have taken action before I've even noticed it. I have already made that phone call, written that note, or sent that email, before I had time to resist or procrastinate at all! It takes NO conscious effort or motivation.

If you find yourself encountering huge blocks to feeling good, or you just can't seem to formulate a coherent CMI, then search for ways to overcome those obstacles. There are lots of techniques for overcoming blockages mentioned on this forum all the time. I'm sure someone will come in behind me and give you more specific information on that stuff.

Meanwhile, relax! It's going to be great.

Love and blessings,
Rachel

Hi Rachel,

Thanks for your response and valuable advice. Permitt me to say I have a big and interesting CMI.

To be honest,I have moved on from where I was 3yrs ago to a point that I wouldnt have been if not for this forum. But I felt by now I should have been closer to my CMI.Looking around me I FEEL the journey is still far away and I became concerned.

In the meantime I will put your advice into practice and see what is going to come out of it while I wait for other folks to guide me.

Many blessings.

Hi Goke

I agree with what Rachel has mentioned above, you must get your feelings right first, i.e. if you are the person you want to be, it is easy to do what you want to do, and have what you want to have.

Now, you mentioned earlier in this thread;
quote:

I discovered that in an attempt to hit my target....

I would suggest, you don't attempt to hit your target. BECOME your target, BE your target, LIVE and FEEL as if you have already achieved what you are aiming for. And in living and feeling as though you have already achieved what you are aiming for, you will attract it to you.

You also mention;
quote:

there are times when doubt and discouragement sets in...

First of all, I would say that everyone of us in TSOGR would have these doubts and discouragements, or if I can put it in general terms, "negative feelings". However, in my short time with this course, I have come to understand that these negative feelings are a sign that we are thinking the wrong thoughts, or thoughts that are negative and do not benefit us.

However, if we hold to and practise the feeling of gratitude everyday, we gradually become proficient at recognising these negative thoughts and are able to dispense with them, as they arise in our everyday living.

Once we develop the awareness of recognising these negative thoughts, and as a form of inspired action, one would have in place measures and strategies to just be able to dispence with them whenever they arise. There are plenty of postings and people in this forum with knowledge of appropriated strategies that you may find useful.

Once we become practised at dispensing with the negative thoughts as they arise, we are then able to live more in the joys of thinking good, being good and most importantly, feeling good.

Hope this is of help.

Blessings

Goke,

I suggest that you not think of this as "work." Discovering the secrets of the universe is fun and fascinating. Discovering your true hearts desire is tremendous and amazing. Finding what makes you feel fabulous is the cushy-est task ever. And, practicing the Science of Getting Rich is the most powerful feeling in the world.

Quite worrying, and relax. It's gonna be great!

Love and blessings,
Rachel

Kudo's Rachel,

I couldn't agree more. I can't help thinking about that line from Forrest Gump, the one about life being like a box of chocolates...open the box and pick one, there's always something delightful inside!!
