My wife wants to go through the course with me. Does anyone have any suggestions for couples going through the course together?

Thanks!

I would have enjoyed going through the course with my wife! Although I know that SOGR works and great things have come to us she still belives that we just got lucky!

I think that working as a team is a force magnifier; or synergy! Go for it!

Hi, Brian! My husband, Mark, and I are going through the course together. We just started, but here's how we are doing it... We download the lesson as a MP3 (easier for us that way) and then we find a place to listen to it together uninterrupted. Being at a computer is not always the best place for us. We have a little speaker that we can plug the MP3 player into so we both can hear.

We also download and print out the script so that we can follow along with Rebecca since we both are really more visual learners than auditory. Later, if we need to go over it again, we can do that on our own.

Finally, we print a copy of the Life Lab worksheet for each of us. We do much of the work on that individually and then we share our responses to the questions. On LL 1, we lumped all of the figures together since most of it is joint, anyway. However, for the million dollars, we each did our own, although we talked about it some before we finished! I would recommend on that one to do it individually and then share after you have both completed it. That will give you insight into what the other considers important! Big Grin

As I said, we have barely started (we're finishing up LL 2) so I can't really tell you much about how it is working out for us. We tend to do a lot of things together, though, so this is pretty normal for us. We are both posting on the forums (Mark is "Mr. Excitement") but I have more time for posting than Mark as well as being more verbal, so unless something changes, you'll see more posts from me than him! Big Grin
