THIS and THAT LL11

Six weeks into SOGR, LL11, on the surface, things have deteriorated steadily financially! Have I failed to have enough purpose and faith in my actions? Is my vision not clear and precise enuogh? Am I not feeling inough gratitude for that which is to come as well as the blessings of the past (and present)? As I muse over these questions, the October e-zine arrives! If you need THIS to get THAT, then what you really want is THAT... What an eye-opener! Thank you Rebecca!!!

Hi Olapeju,

I am new to this as well. I joined about 4 weeks ago and just completed LL11 today. All as I can offer is to keep reading the book everyday, keep up with the Lifelabs and keep sharing with everyone. One more thing also that comes to mind is I remember Rebecca talking somewhere about how this is quite normal for things to get worse before they get better, as the old reality must fall away for the new one to come in. Also, another example in the book, was from a student of Wally's. He asked for something and didn't get it, and instead of complaining, he thanked (gratitude) the formless substance that something even better must be on the way. And sure enough, 3 weeks later, something better than he could have ever expected did come his come.

Good luck!

Sorry... I made a mistake in the last sentence of my reply. It should have said, "And sure enough, 3 weeks later, something better than he could have ever expected did come his way.

Olapeju, you are not the only one!

I made a decision this morning that, since things are getting steadily worse, this is a time to take action - and that action is to say 'thank you that the way is being prepared for something better to come in'. Oh - and it's just occurred to me to form a clear mental picture of typing a post here when the first fab thing happens! Smile

Hi Olapeju

In the beginning I had a similar experience. The beauty of it was that:
1) I was relatively calm because I knew things were changing.
2) I was grateful for the time off, using it to study and enjoy myself.

If I didn't have sogr at the time I would probably have started panicking about where the next bit of income was coming from. Of course it did come, out of the blue. I am now negotiating my next contract which marks quite a significant increase in my day-rate.

Keep on, study, clarify and meditate. Expect success and you will surely have success.

Blessings

Adrian

Just an observation.

Wally uses "purpose" 54 times, and uses "faith and purpose" 24 times.

I found this to be enlightening, FAITH strengthens Purpose.

It is my experience that whenever we endeavor to shine the light on any blocks we might have to whatever it is we want, the blocks loom larger in that light . . . . at first. These are those things we created . . . . . up until now that are coming up for review and gives us the splendid opportunity to apply the SOGR perspective to old stuff.

May riches pour through, to and from you, now! Smile

Hi Olapeju,

Thank you for your post. It describes what I'm feeling right now. The October edition of The Certain Way ezine is really a good read! Right now I'm feeling better after reading the issue and all the posts in this thread.

I let myself use its imagination FREELY as mentioned in the ezine. And the music from my neighbor made it more delightful!

Thanks everyone!

Dominic

I've been a member for a little while now, but I don't think I've seen the e-zine that people keep mentioning. Please can someone tell me where I can find it, because I feel like I'm missing out here!! It sounds interesting and enlightening. Thank you x
