Most of my life ,up until now , I have focused on the "practical".I had no problem buying things I saw as needed in a practical sense, but felt guilt over purchasing luxury items, and ever felt some anger at others who did.(Superior Attitude, no doubt!)Now I see the good that can come of these things,in many ways to many people. I am much happier to find more ways to experience joy in my life.I feel myself Growing and I'm VERY GRATEFUL! Big Grin

Hello, Lindabee. Kurt here!

I really have to congratulate you on the "aha!" moment you expressed in your post. I am currently involved in bettering my financial situation, but the road hasn't always been easy. What I noticed I was doing was pushing myself as hard as possible without letting up for anything. In other words, I wasn't taking the time to celebrate my accomplishments by just doing something nice for myself that didn't fit into my overall agenda. What happened is that I would invariably burnout and almost give up because the goal seemed way to difficult. What I'm making sure to do this time is to in some way celebrate each step I complete towards my goal. This re-energizes my resolve and I'm able to go onto the next step without feeling emotionally frustrated. So what you're doing is definitely in line with principles of Abundance. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE TIME TO TREAT YOURSELF AFTER A JOB WELL DONE.

Good luck & God bless,

Kurt Smile tuxedo_corner@yahoo.com

I intend to take your wise advice, and do a little celebrating soon.It was great to just get some encouragment. Sounds to me as if you are gaining a wealth of wisdom in a fairly short time. That in itself is a faith builder in the principles for me.Also I TOTALLY agree with your post regarding negitivity. How can anything be attracted to that but misery? It took me many, many, years to learn that it was optional.I do wish our negitive brothers and sisters the acceptance to learn this without putting themselves thru the pain I have in the past.Again thank you so much for your reply. Lindabee Cool
