" when I hear great changes and positive results taking place I rejoice... And when I hear that everything is falling apart I rejoice even more"
Understanding this was one of the turning point in my journey, it seems that we need the "dark night of the soul" before receiving all the good things and see positive changes in our journey. For me it raises the question can there be resurrection without crucifixion? I will not try to answer that question for anyone else but me.
That thought brought another one, what question do I ask myself when things don't work out? There is always one and the same question, mine is "Am I going to succeed"? The response I get, maybe, we'll never know, last time you failed, why keep trying, and on and on. Asking the question, what do I want instead? create a new and better question something like How can I allow the inner power and my gift to flow freely and exponentially"?
Looking at what questions comes up in a situation and correcting, finding the real question to ask and follow with meditation. Stuck in traffic the question could be, why did I come this way or any other questions along that line of thinking will always bring something not so supportive and causes stress. A better question would be how many deep breath can I take during this time?
Or anything else that really matter, that really bring about a better journey.
Much more can be said about it. I found in my life that when a "non productive" question comes choosing to let it go usually bring about a productive question allowing possibilities and improving the journey.
So, ask a real question that goes somewhere.
With all my love

Good one studmuffin, very inspiring. I especially love what you said about being happier when you hear things falling appart. Gives me courage to move on.

Hi Bernard, My question to myself when things don't go as anticipated is, "What have I learned from this experience?" or "How has /is this experience serving me?" It helps me to look back on previous "negative" ie. unpleasant events and reflect on how my life has changed for the better (in my perspective) from having that experience. So I really appreciate your raising this post as it is a great reminder to choose my questions carefully and also a timely reminder that I always have a choice of perspective. Thanks, Mozz
BTW. I have chosen to forego the crucifixion and simply have the resurrection. I decided quite some time ago that I am happy to see the 'good' without needing the 'bad' to remind me of how good life is and gratitude is the key. This may mean that I am still having the crucifixions but am not recognising them as such and that is absolutely fine by me. LOL
