I have just got back from a weekend away with one of the kids. I am still not clear on what to ask for, the desire thing seems
to be different to the money thing. Whilst away I thought it meant do what you want and the money will come regardless of
what you want to do but now I am I still wanting to ask for things like investments etc I hope this will become clearer the
further I go.

Hello RAB,
Don't worry, this course is a process and not a single event. I've been here since Sept. 18 of this year and had read the book at least 5 times before I decided to take this course. Getting clear involves examining and uncovering the thoughts and beliefs that have prevented money and other things from flowing easily into our lives. Many times these thoughts and behaviors are like spyware running in the background, we haven't even been aware they are clogging up the works. On the conscious level, all we know, up til now, is that we have wanted certain things and they have not shown up. But its like we have asked and have stood with a closed fist. Then wondered why we have empty hands. To continue with this picture, SOGR PG teaches us how to open our fist. You mention wanting to ask for things like investments. Nothing wrong with that. The question is why? What would having investments "feel" like? Do you want them for a feeling of security? What if you say you want these things but the unconscious programming you have running in the background says you don't deserve it or if you have these things, you might become like those rich snobs over there or money doesn't grow on trees or making money is hard work or....you get the idea, the programming is many and varied. Thoughts and ideas like these close our fist, so to speak. As Rebecca says, relax, take your time and do the life labs. All in all, its a wonderful ride! I look forward to hearing your progress and many success stories! Namaste! |

I think you have discovered what Wattles said about the man in the small rented home.
The man realized that he had not asked for enough. Your desires and wants are making themselves known. This is great. Jim Stay Grateful My Friends! |

RAB, you're already asking. You're asking just about every waking moment and you have been all your life. What we're about here is learning to be more aware of what we're asking for -- in other words, what we're giving our attention to. Because WHATEVER you are continually thinking about, you ARE asking for. The "clear" part of what Wally calls the "clear mental image" comes AFTER the actual asking (because you can't stop the aasking, actually). And its only real function is to help you become more enthusiastic and happily excited about whatever it is that you desire actually being yours. Yes, just relax into this. First we sort of shake up the pot and then as we relax and just let the information sort of sink in and we give ourselves permission to look inside, things begin to sort of settle down and start to fit together and make sense. The VERY best way to take this course (or to do anything, really) is simply to relax, take it easy, let it be fun. Love & blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |

Hi Again
Thanks to every one for your contributions. One question for Spiritdream, what does Namaste mean? |

I love your response here Rebecca - thank you. It is so very clear - that we are already always `asking'. It's just a matter of being clear on what we have been (up until now) asking for, and what we are now, with our CMI, asking for. The other thing in your reply that is particularly helpful to me is about the `shaking up of the pot'initially. I've been feeling like a very shaken pot since starting here. At the same time, I've been trusting that things will settle with time - initially it feels like overload - and I guess that's a sign of how "hungry" I've been for all of this information and input. I think maybe a lot of us come here with that hunger and thirst - and why we feel the need to "gobble it all up all at once" ... and then feel overwhelmed and overfed!! But as you say, gradually we learn to relax and let things sink in and settle and have fun with it. I'm not there yet, but I certainly have moments of it!! Thank you, Jayne |
