Hello everyone,
On LL9 we are asked to practice this for a week until jumping to another LifeLab, now I am very fortunate that I have never cared about the news, the only news I currently watch are World Cup news, but other than that I have never been interested in any kind of news, nor I ever follow the news, just not my cup of tea, it's all bs in my honest opinion anyways. So my question is, Should I wait a week until I move on to my next LL? -Alex |

Alex, are you coach-able?
Yes I think you should wait a week. From looking at when you signed up and how far you have come, it looks like you have been rushing through the course as it is. And you have not let go of watching the World Cup news, have you? So you have not even started. God bless you, Caroline My Gift To You: 50,000 Guaranteed Visitors To Your Site |

This is not a week of "waiting." It's a week of intentional heightened awareness. Caroline is right about how you've made an exception! What do you think that means? What story are you telling yourself about your need for this particular news?
Also, take a look at your own attitude and thinking about the news and the people who provide it. "It's all bs." Well, not really. Not all of it. At times it's quite useful and helpful. What I'm getting at here, in this session, is that we have the ability to CHOOSE. We don't have to let anyone else fill our heads with their ideas, assumptions, "news," prejudices, judgements, and so on. We can just look at it, say, no, that's not for me, and move on. And we can still be grateful for the variety, for the wide range of things to choose for. And we can let go of our competitive mind thinking about those people who DO like the news, or provide the news, or whatever. Imagine this: You're at the most sumptuous buffet you have ever seen. There are HUNDREDS of dishes laid out before you and you have a big plate and can take whatever you want to enjoy. It's highly unlikely that you're going to spend a lot of time standing in front of the foods you don't like and thinking -- or even talking -- about how much you don't like them, how they're disgusting, or how they make you sick. No, instead, you'd just think, no, not for me, and move on, helping yourself to all the items you DO enjoy. Meanwhile, the guy right behind you in line, looks at the dish that just gave you a moment of "ugh" and his face lights up. "Oh boy! My favorite!" It's all good. And we don't look at the buffet and get all bent out of shape because it contained things we don't care for. We just take what we want, leave others to do the same, and then chow down. Bon apetit! Try that this week with the news. In fact, try it with EVERYTHING! (And yes, it would be good to slow down. The course isn't about cramming more information into your head. It's about giving yourself the gift of time and contemplation and going within. That can't be rushed. It's really pointless to try to do this fast.) Love & blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Caroline bangs her head on the keyboard and goes hide in the corner in shame Thank you Rebecca for reminding me this is more like a week of observing our own thoughts and feelings. God bless you, Caroline My Gift To You: 50,000 Guaranteed Visitors To Your Site |

I'm sure glad you put the icon with the big grin in there, Caroline, or I might have thought you were SERIOUS. Yikes. Shame, of course, has no place in the science of getting rich! (Unless, of course, one wishes to experience more of that sort of thing.) Plus, I didn't even notice that you used the word wait. I was actually responding to alexmiami's question about waiting a week. Love & blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |

NO! No shame, Rebecca, just having fun at pretending to be mortified. I find I feel best as long as I do not take myself too seriously. (I was observing the possibility of an old thought showing up without allowing the thought to come to fruition)
Goes to show how careful we must be about assumptions! Hmm. Interesting thought exercise. What other word can I think of rather than "waiting"? I have no fun experiences with the w word. Joyful anticipation Feels good God bless you, Caroline My Gift To You: 50,000 Guaranteed Visitors To Your Site |
