I've been noticing these series of incessant attacks on The Secret. I find them disturbing.

I'm sorry, but to me these tirades speak volumes about the negativity of the thread author's mindset than about the object of the attack.

I have the book, read it, and found NOTHING that contradicts SOGR or this forum. Matter of fact, I find it nice, with all the quotes.

It says EXACTLY the same thing that Rebecca has said so many times on this forum, and also Wally.

As far as buying the program is concerned, hey, that's up to the person. Personally, I've only read the book.

If their package, whatever it is, is just a scheme, it'll become apparent, if it isn't already so.

Like everything else, use your judgement.

From what I've read on this forum, The Secret has been responsible for getting some people interested in SOGR, and study it deeply.

That can't be bad. There are a lot of people for whom The Secret has served as a gateway. They can do this by simply checking the book out of the library without buying anything.

Lets concentrate on what we ourselves want, and leave the judgement as to whether any particular course or teaching is appropriate, to the individual, and not worry about how the whole world is going to react to a particular book or teaching.

I assure you there a lot of investigative newspeople looking into that, like ABC's Nightline.

Our job is to concentrate on ourselves first and foremost.

We create our own worlds.

Lets get off this negativity.

I cannot find many people that have attacked the Secret film or book. I for one think it is a great thing that has happened regards making people aware.
There have just been some comments made about certain things that have happened as a result of that success.
I personally think that this has run its course and we should all move on. I know that I have been responsible for a lot of it, but I have apologised and made it clear as to why I persisted.
