Hello Friends:
I've been reading a lot about when to take actions; and nothing is going to happen without action and things of that sort. A while ago I came by this Abraham-Hicks recording and I want to share it with you. Even if you don't like A-H you can't deny it makes a lot of sense. I want my millions Lots of love Luz Maria |

FINALLY! That has to be the best explanation of the action part that I have ever heard. I think I actually get it now. I finally see why so many of the things I have been involved in just felt wrong.
I heard about the concept of going upstream or against the tide, for so long, but it never sank in until now. I love the idea of the universe "lighting the trail" for me. I have rarely seen it, and so it makes perfect sense now why so many of the efforts were "hard work" which amounted to very little. When I think back to the Universe lighting a trail, things and people were put in my path, even though I physically did nothing, not even look for them. Because it wasn't along my main line of endeavor, the way I thought I would make money, I never paid it much mind. Yet, in all those situations, things were easy and fun. _______ Follow your bliss! |

Thank you Luz Maria. What she said made a lot of sense. And it was not so much about action.
And now I am off to give myself more soothing thoughts God bless you, Caroline My Gift To You: 50,000 Guaranteed Visitors To Your Site |

I loved this! As a realtor I laughed at vibrational escrow. It was so inspiring, I sat down and rewrote my CMI, it came flowing out of me and I felt so happy after I was finished. I am reading it every day.

That IS excellent. I even have that whole recording so I think I'll go listen to it again now. I love Estherham!
And I deprived myself of that for a number of years because of my own self-righteous judgement and my assumptions that what Esther was doing was somehow suspect and wrong. Then I caught myself and said to myself, hey, you are doing that thing that you so dislike when OTHER PEOPLE do it: Judging something with no first-hand experience of it. Making up a story based on your assumptions only. Yikes. So I took myself to one of their workshops. And everything I heard made so much sense to me, resonated so strongly. Everything I heard brought things into more clarity. Everything I heard sounded like love. I decided I didn't care about the "mechanics" of how the information arrived because I could feel strongly that it was coming from Source and I trusted it. That was five years ago and I haven't heard a single contradiction in all this time. I highly recommend questioning your own stories. Another teacher of mine -- the fellow who in less than two hours helped me let go of that allergy I'd had for more than 35 years (and the addiction to its medication) -- always says, "Well, you're making it all up anyway. You might as well make up something that pleases you and feels good." (He was talking specifically about the stories we tell ourselves about things that have happened to us that we hold onto for decades, lifetimes, and continue to hurt ourselves with over and over -- to NO good end.) I agree! And now I'm reading a fascinating new book that shows just how we don't remember things the way they really happened anyway most of the time. Robert's right: Make up a new story that you like and focus on THAT. Wally would love it, I think! Love & blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |

Yep. That's exactly the reason I avoided them for so long. Sadly, I can't even call it my own self righteous judgements or assumptions because I was just driving on other people's information and opinions. I had never really even thought about it for myself. Now I love listening to them. Not as easy to follow through though. I am still amazed at how so many Americans are so well trained to believe that action is everything. Even when it is as plain as the sun outside that my actions are not producing any new results, it is difficult to make that switch. I want to do something. (And I don't mean that in a good inspired way) _______ Follow your bliss! |

Well, you just assumed that those people were correct! As for wanting to DO something, go ahead. Just remember to follow Wally's advice to hold that successful, delicious, delightful CMI as you do it. Instead of telling yourself it's hard to follow through and that your actions aren't helping to bring about any new results, choose a better story. Get it all in harmony. Then you're a powerhouse. Love & blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |

Aahhh so with the right mindset, I could do the same actions, but get very different results! I never thought of that either.

Teruchan, I'm glad you got that. It's what I've been trying to say! Yes, it's the THINKING that creates. You could do the very same action with a light heart, joyful and expectant attitude and enjoy it immensely. Or you could do it with resentment and the like and give yourself a totally unpleasant experience. In the "now" moment of the action, you could experience wellbeing -- or its opposite. So right in that moment, you could "prosper." And then that sort of thing attracts more of its kind, of course. People, opportunities, resources, connections, all kinds of good things can begin to show up. Wonderful occurrences you never even dreamed of can show up! (I know; it happens to me all the time.) But when we choose the other kind of action -- resentment, struggle, forcing, pushing against -- we may achieve some results, but my own experience is that they don't last (not without a lot more struggle, forcing, etc.) and we have paid too high a price by giving up the happiness of the moment. It's possible to "have it all" -- to create wonderful experiences, to enjoy the creating, to enjoy the "results" even before they show up in tangible form (what we call "reality"). Look for the good in everything and the good in everything will come to you. Love & blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |

When I heard this recording I thought of you Teruchan; when I said I've been reading a lot about action I meant in the forum All I can say is that it's working for me. I am happy most of the time and I don't take what I percieve as negative that bad anymore; I get an internal tandrum and I'm done with it. Things have been coming my way not as I expect it but I like it. I try to let go of the how as soon as I start wondering.
Soooo true!!! I just look for the good and if I make an effort on something is in that; in trying to look for the good.
We don't have to forget the other stuff(kind of hard or up stream) just choose to think better stuff When I catch myself questioning A-H far fetch-ness Lots of love Luz Maria |

Well thank you! I'm really happy you posted it here, or I may not have run across it. I had been doing a lot of reading on action, right here in this forum. I had even taken to using the advanced search, picking a particular poster by name, and reading everything they wrote on action. Now I am trying to just get the happiest place I can get. I heard another great quote in a different AH video that said when you get in proper alignment, just about any action will get you to where you want to be. I love that thought. That means, you get to place where you just be happy, and do what you want to do always! What I am trying now is making up stories about my current circumstances. I am seeing everything in a different light. I am constantly repeating in my mind the SOGR quote "You can make the doing of it pleasant by knowing that it is making it possible for you to come to the doing of what you want to do." As a visual person, I am often superimposing imagined images of what I truly want, on top of what lies before me. I see my place as the place I really want to live. I see my drawing equipment as the equipment I really want to use. Anything to get to a better feeling place. It makes sense. Why wouldn't I want to be as happy as possible right here and right now? _______ Follow your bliss! |

Well, that about describes my uneasiness about it; which I almost commented on but did not want to focus on. Since I don't have the firsthand experience, I don't know that I'll ever necessarily be a follower or go to one of their classes, but I can enjoy them from afar. Thanks for those comments to consider Rebecca. |
