Greetings Amazing People!
Last year or so, Rebecca turned us on to making Mind_Movies to help us realize our dreams.

Here are Mine:
Thoughts Are Things Part 1

Thoughts Are Things Part 2

In them I had imagined:
1) buying beautiful Indian clothes and shoes
2)traveling to Arizona, and
3)getting "unexpected" income. (I put "unexpected" in quotes, because today I know that $$ is always on its way to me from the Universe, I just don't always know from exactly where.)

These three things have happened-I found a great source for Indian clothes online, and the profits help local artisans. I have money in the bank AFTER paying all my bills for the first time.

Today, I am booking a trip to see friends in Arizona in April, and my husband and I are thinking of moving out there. It's our first trip ever together out west.

I still watch the mind_movie from time to time, and I can't wait to see what happens next!

Oh, and I had also imagined completely restoring and redoing my house. I have been able to make some major repairs so that now the house is in excellent condition. The house is up for sale. The other day, a lovely couple came by to look at it, are very interested in buying it, and guess what? He's a CONTRACTOR, and was talking about doing all the stuff that I would have done to it, like a new garage. How cool is that? Cool Wink

I would love to hear about others' experience with their Mind_Movies coming to fruition. Smile

Hi Julia,

Loved your Mind Movies and hearing about your manifestations from them. I particularly liked the, 'having 3 x more income than expenses' line. It's been my intention to always have more income that I can ever spend but I loved that you quantified it.

I was also thrilled to see that you included a map of Australia in your travel plans. I live in a tropical rain forest in Far North Queensland and have a "guest house" on my property for family and friends to stay. If ever you decide to travel "down-under", know that you have free accommodation in Kuranda and you will be made very welcome.

Keep on sharing your successes and wisdom - I thoroughly enjoy reading your posts.

Hi Julia,

Where in Arizona are you going or thinking of moving to? I think that you will like it; but it is a lot different than New Hampshire! There is a lot of diversity; deserts, mountains, canyons, cactus, pine trees, etc.

Growing up I lived in a couple of different places in Arizona and still enjoying visiting there.

I guess my mind movie is in my head, I keep it there and make modifications to it on a regular basis.

I've had a lot of success with my mind movies and my vision boards. I didn't even realise how successful my first vision board had been at first until I found it in a cupboard I had stored it while moving house and realised when I looked it, my new house I was living in had heaps of identical pictures on it!

I have a couple of mind movies at the moment, one is a career one, the other is a travel one. I had a previous travel one before I came to the states a year ago and am happy to report that one paid off well!

Might go watch them now!

Shannon

Hi Shannon,

Yes I have had success with lists even. Before I moved into the flat I rent now, which I have been in for 10 years, I wrote out a list of what I wanted - like sunny bathroom. I also wrote that I didn't want to look at lots of flats, but I wanted to be taken straight to the right one - and that's what happened. I found that list clearing out a few years ago and noticed it all came to pass.

I am a bit disoriented now with my vision boards. I had one with a picture of me and my fiance and a photo of Sydney airport, with the sign WELCOME TO SYDNEY in it. I've taken down the picture of me and my ex, but don't know what to put there now.

cheers
Pauline

I live in Az too. It's taken a bit of adjustment in my thinking to go from the green of the south to the different beauty of the desert. It's grown on me. Now I am having to change my thinking about the small rural town I live in and what is really necessary for happiness and how that can be no matter where you live and no matter what the circumstances. And I can still change them whenever I want. :-)

I asked this question of someone a few years back as I wanted to focus on ending up with a certain person. I really liked the answer he gave me. Come up with a list of all the qualities you want in a person and when you visualize that, make that person faceless. This way your leaving it up the universe to find and deliver to you that perfect person, instead of trying to make the person you have in mind fit that list.

When I made my vision board, I had some travel brochures that had pictures of couples together on holidays looking happy and relaxed and having a good time. I stuck them on in the relationship section, they make me feel good when I look at them. Replace that pic with one that feels good, doesn't matter if it isn't one with your ex, make it faceless for now and see what happens. It makes it so much easier when you trust in the universe to deliver what you want in the perfect form instead of struggling to change something and make it perfect.

Take care,

Shannon

If the idea of (or a picture of) a particular person causes you to feel wonderful, I say go for it. AND remember the "this or something better part," too, because when we latch onto anything or anyone and begin believing we must have THAT in order to be happy, we've just set ourselves up for disappointment.

That kind of attachment is what causes all our pain and suffering. But when we can just go with the FEELING and let go of the "how" (or "who"), then wonderful things happen. Something or someone even better than you could have imagined can show up right in front of you. And if you're open, you'll know.

But if you're clinging to the belief that what you want has to show up in one narrow, specific way, you won't even notice.

Sometimes I have a specific individual or thing in mind, or type of thing. But not always. And when I do, I just tell myself, "Well, this is the best I can imagine right now ... but I'm open! Big Grin

That's partly what happened with this lovely sailboat I'm aboard right now. I had a specific image in mind just to give me something to focus on. But when I saw THIS boat -- which is smaller and of a different make than I'd imagined -- I instantly had this feeling: Oh, THIS is my boat.

I just love how that works!

Love & blessings, and, of course--
EXPECT Success!

Hi Tom,
We're not sure yet. Our friends live near Phoenix, one in Chandler and the other in Goodyear. We're going to check things out and explore possibilities. I LIKE the fact that it's so different than New Hampshire, I look forward to the hot dry air rather than the cold humid air that we're used to.
Thanks for asking, we're looking forward to the trip.

Me too. I had a particular person in mind, it made me feel good to think about this person and I was sure I was going to end up with this person. Than I met someone else who just made me go "wow, you are way better than I one I thought I wanted!"

I'm so excited,I just found out that our friends who we're staying with when we go to Arizona are taking us to SEDONA! The cool part is that we never asked, they just thought of taking us there. I'm so blown away, because Sedona is the place that I wanted to see most.

Thanks for allowing me to share the fun,
Julia

Hi Julia,

You will love Sedona, a lot of beautiful red rock formations!Oak Creek Canyon near there is also beautiful.

I had an aunt that lived in Chandler at one point. When I was in the 7th thru 10th grades our family lived in a mining town between Benson and Wilcox; and then the 11th grade in Tucson.
