How can I best apply SOGR?

I am owed around £450 in one invoice and around £1,000 on another (this one through a Joint Venture Partner) from consultancy work I have done that was billed in February and March.

The client is a Builders Merchant and has always, over two and half years, paid up no problem. They have anew FD and his is querying our contract, delaying payment, claiming he has not received e-mails with information we have sent, and doing odd things like sending an e-mail at quater to ten on Saturday evening.

With the credit squeeze in the UK, falling property prices etec etc my JV partner suspects that they are having trouble paying suppliers. Certainly not paying us will not affect their trading as we have already done the work and cannot put them "on stop".

Obviously we can only guess at their financial position.

My JV partner will want to start debt recovery/legal action tomorrow. Is this in conflict with SOGR as it is based on scarcity mentality?

Thanks for advice.

Dazzer,

I think the answer lies not so much in what action you decide to take. It's really about if you can feel genuinely good (loving, at peace, harmonious, etc.) with the action you take. At least, that’s what my experience seems to be telling me.

“Tending to your own thoughts and feelings and letting yourself become the perfect match to your desires brings you joy and peace. And I promise you that your own joy and peace are the keys to everything -- EVERYTHING -- you want, for yourself and others.” - Rebecca Fine

“The important thing is that you actively put yourself in the vibration you must for your desired outcome to be created.” - Multimillionaire businessman and teacher, John Assaraf, from p. 168 of his book ‘The Street Kid’s Guide To Having It All’

"It is never too late to find a good feeling place about anything. Things will constantly change to match the feeling you have inside." Abraham-Hicks

Thank You.

I will be calling them today, but my attititude will be one of helpfulness and understanding rather than threats and contention.

Other parts of my business are going so well and I prefer to focuson those and the new opportunitoes anf fruits thereof.

Hi Dazzer,

As you pointed out with the credit squeeze in both the UK and the USA a lot of companies have had some problems keeping as prompt in their payments as the once had been!

The printing business that I sold was having some problems collecting from some of our very good customers, but those people did eventually come through. And many of them are in the building trades!

If those companies had always in the past been on time with their payments they will certainly make good on their payments to you! It may just take a little longer. The economy will begin to recover, they still value your services and will want to honor their comitment to you!

Be good to yourself, live life passionately and always, always expect success!! I don't know how long I will live, but I'll live until I die!!

Tom, thank you for reminding that the economy will begin to recover. With all the negatives out there about it, it's nice to hear a positive for a change. Blessings.

Blessings,
